With Main Street opening one hour before rope drop, does that mean it opens up 7am on an 8am EMH day? We have 7:55am ADR at CRT, and trying to determine what the crowd on Main Street may be like as we head towards the castle.

For an 8:00a EMH, EMH and ADR guests will enter at 7:45a.

So it's safe to say guests like up at the gates easily an hour before this? I'm wondering how early I'll be able to catch a bus from AOA.
I'm not sure if EMH guests arrive that early but you can easily get on a bus at AoA by 6:30a.

We were there 2 weeks ago on a EMH Friday and they did not let us onto Main Street until 8am.... It was chaos.

Until just a few months ago (with the advent of the regular hours 8AM Main St. admittance)
they have never let 8AM AM EMH guests onto Main St. until 8AM.
Why would that have been a particular problem?

I was there last week friday for EMH and the park did not open until 1 minute before 8am as they had to clear something off the street ( I was told a street cleaner) and the week before they had to make sure all the people doing the races had cleared out.

basic I was told they try to let ADR people in at round 7:45/7:50 and the other guest in about 10 minutes latter but the streets have to be cleared first and it may be delays

This was helpful, thank you!

How are they separating EMH guests from non EMH? Or where I should say? I assume on an EMH morning, everyone can go on main st at 8 am. So where do they check bands so EMH people can go further?

The bridge leading to fantasyland and tomorrowland

Sorry, but they do not check Magic Bands at the bridge leading to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. (I wish that they WOULD do that.)

They keep the non-WDW resort guests at TTC (as nearly all arrive by car and park there.)
Otherwise, for the most part, guests from the WDW resorts arrive by Disney bus (or resort monorail and resort shuttle) at the MK gates, so (statistically) mostly only WDW resort guests
can get to the MK gates during the bulk of AM EMH time.

you are wrong they do I was there did it they checked they do not check first thing but after about 8:15 they do I was there at 7;$% none resort guest told the CM at the TTC that I was going to the GF for breakfast they let go with out any question I instead when to the MK walked in and they are checking at the bridges leading to the lands I think if I really wanted too I could have made it back there before they started to check. There are a lot of people doing this and Disney knows it. Yes they do check at the TTC and also at the MK where I said

so your wish they would is true... so now you can be happy

I do not remember the dates sorry I have been 3 times in January ( I think they were 7,14 ,15) for days trips then January 19-21 * was not there on the 21 as bad weather was headed south and I do not like to drive and driving in rain is even worse I was stay in Tampa so just drove home instead.

and then Feb 27-march 3

pretty sure the Juarary day trip was the day I want to MK and told them I was eating at the GF and just went on to MK and they were checking MB at the bridge before going back.

the feb-march trip I was at disney and went back I was gong to see the welcome show then decide not to when I saw the CM check MB to get back in I released I did not want to fight the crowds so I went on the little mermaid ride instead.

We were there in Jan. They WERE checking MBs at the bridges to Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
Great system.

After that time, however, it has been reported here multiple times that they stopped doing that.
I hope that they HAVE re-started that system, because it worked very well.

But, there have been many MK AM EMH discussions since our trip, reporting that there was no internal screening at MK AM EMH.
I have not seen even one person report that happening for the many weeks of AM EMH since our trip...
until your report just now.

I have friend there that are off site I text them to ask I will let you know. I have not heard of anything changing

But, if they are off-site, how would they know about inside MK AM EMH procedures
