My family and I are making a quick one day trip to MK on our way to the beach with friends in a couple of weeks. Whe we did Disney last year we did Crystal Palace (awesome TS) and Pecos Bills (fairly decent CS).

Due to the last minute timing of this trip (we go in a week and 1/2) we are looking at CS meals for dining. What are some of your favorite CS places at MK???

Cosmic Ray's - they have a nice variety and one of the meals is large enough to share (this is really great if you are on ddp)

Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbour House

I like CR for the variety. we can eat chicken, burgers, or some type of sandwich. CHH has the fish and chicken we like so it mixes things up for us.

Columbia Harbor House-nice alternative to burgers.

Cosmic Rays-Everything from chicken and ribs to salads and burgers.

Pinnochio Village haus-pizza and a really good turkey bacon panini :thumbsup2

We really like the chicken and ribs at Cosmic Rays. You can check the menus at www.allears.net to see what everyone has to offer. We've eaten at Pecos Bills and it was not bad. I just like the variety at Cosmic Rays. It isn't just a burger. If I remember right, my dd and I shared a rib and chicken meal and it came with mashed potatoes.

There are only three we will eat at and two are our favs:

1. Columbia Harbour House -- anything on the menu (be sure to get a table upstairs--it's not as crowded and has some great views)
2. Pinocchio Village Haus -- loved the turkey bacon panini
3. Pecos Bills -- this is our last choice--and we only go there if the others are way too busy or we really want a burger

Thanks everyone!

There are some of these I wouldn't have noticed had I not posted this!

:thumbsup2

I agree with other posters that Columbia Harbour House is fantastic and we are huge fans of Pinochio's Village Haus, there are a couple of great seating options here one being next to the windows overlooking the start of IASW and the other being upstairs and outside on the balcony overlooking Fantasyland.:wave2:

Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbour House are good bets.

We like Cosmic Rays when we are on the dining plan. We can easily share a 1 CS lunch there and save the extra credit to eat a dinner at Pepper Market so we can save a TS credit to do a 2 TS dinner. Man that is confusing to even me! :rotfl:

Be aware Cosmic Rays has three stations and they offer different food items. The order area is fanned out in a 180 degree arc. The station closest to the Tomorrowland area is the one where you order ribs and chicken. The half a chicken and rib meal can easily be split between two eaters and if they are light eaters you can split that meal three ways!

The one station has sandwiches like BBQ Pork Sandwich, Turkey Bacon Wrap, Vegetarian Wrap, chicken nuggets and salads like a Caesar Salad with Chicken or a Club Salad. They also offer chili and soup.

The final station has burgers like Bacon Double Cheeseburger, 1/4 pound Cheeseburger, Beef Hot Dog, Chili Cheese Dog, Vegetarian Burger, and the topping bar that is great!

There are a number of seating choices. If you want dark and quiet they have that, if you want to eat outside there is an patio area over looking the bridge to Main Street and they have an area with crazy funny music played by a robot band.

The bathrooms there are also very easy to use as they are in a hallway right behind the ordering area.

Cosmic Ray's...although it was extremely crowded! It was nice to have the topping bar...to be able to add pickles, lettuce, etc, to our liking!

Our old "favorite" was Aunt Polly's...sadly, they no longer serve sandwiches, and weren't even open this trip!

Another thumbs up for Columbia Harbor House!

We did Cosmic Ray's and Pinochio Village Haus last week. We did Cosmic and Pecos Bill's on prior trips.

We ended up sharing at both CS locations last week due to the size of the meals. If you are paying out of pocket it's a good way to save money.

We used our extra CS credits for breakfast. We did not share table meals on our dining plan (although you could at some places).

Cosmic Ray's and P's Village Haus were both really good. We always got there by 11:15 to beat the crowd. As we left the crowds would come in waves. I'm so glad we went early!

At Cosmic Ray's the cashier used my TS credits instead of the CS credits (every meal I check and count the credits) so spent about 20 minutes with a manager correcting it. It all went very nicely and they gave me an extra CS credit for the trouble.

I actually like PEcos Bill's but not for the burgers as much as thier Grilled Chicken Salad with the lime vinagrette (sp?).

Cosmic Ray's is also very good as they do have a wider selection but as stated earlier make you sure to chekc the menu boards for the side you are standing on as you can only order certain items from each side of the area.
