Membership in The Magic Kingdom Club was often available free through your employer (but you could also pay to join, I believe). You received a membership card with an ID# on it. Members were eligible for discounts on rooms, some restaurants, The Disney Store, etc. It was a good program! As stated by others, this club was replaced by The Disney Club. The Disney Club was not available for employers to offer to their employees anymore. I believe it was around $30 to join, but I think you also got a subscription to Disney Magazine with that. When the Disney Visa came out, The Disney Club was phased out. The perks that came with MKC membership were much better that what has been made available through Disney Visa, IMHO.
