Buses from the resorts to the parks begin running every day about 6:30AM.


On the special and few days of the year when MK opens for AM EMH at the very early hour of 7AM, the buses will be running even earlier.

When we went to the 7AM EMH the bus from ASMusic picked us up at 6AM and we were one of the first groups in line. Buses at 6:30-7 AM time slot are "reserved" for groups with breakfast dining reservations, except they don't check or care.

We are staying offsite so can't take advantage of EMH but just noticed that Disney extended their regular operating hours for our May trip. Magic Kingdom will be open to 11pm or 12am every day of our trip. We are getting hoppers and will hop over to close MK on a couple of those 12am days. My kids are 15, 12, and 8 and even the youngest will have no problem staying up that late. (They often stay up that late on non-school nights anyways). My family is not a rope drop family this lets us take advantage of the parks better, sleep in and stay out late! Touring in the evening/late night is the BEST time for us
