Magic Key Reservation Availability Is A Joke

It is sneaky. But it also makes sense that they would open up availability so that the new MK's could get reservations after they purchase.

Because they dumped a ton of availability. Maybe to help facilitate sales of MK? Even Valentine’s Day is available - and it’s been gone since late November, sans a few brief cameo appearances.

Valentines Day was not gone since November. I easily booked it the 3rd week of December. I let the reservation go to book a later date and kept checking its availability because I was considering changing again. I don't think it filled until the last week of December.

When I looked after Thanksgiving week, the only dates gone in 2025 were Jan 5/ 6/ Feb 14. They all saw their availability replenished several times.

I started checking on Dec 5 when the 2025 Event Schedule was released. I didn't see either park fill on 2/14 so I waited to reserve it until after I used my last visit before being blocked out (Dec 20).

If you want to brave the rain, you can enter the park today. Otherwise, if you want to go on the weekend, you’ll have to wait until March (or keep checking regularly for additional availability). Bought the Imagine key and want a Friday? Gotta wait four weeks.

But of course, Disney is still selling more Magic Keys!!! I can’t believe believe continue to defend that practice.
