I tried it for a year... then jumped on an offer when the year is up - that renewed me for 10$ a year - so I have MJ until 2014.
Pros- price.
- voicemail
- price
- pretty easy to use.
- pick your number.
- bring with you anywhere in the world. (as long as there is internet)
- READ THE FAQ - they have answers on the site as far as 'saving contacts' and volume control.
- Outlook add-in for contact information.
- 30 day guarentee means risk free, but... i have never tried to deal with a person.
- You can call anyone in the US - call their cell, house, business, computer with not extra charge... (skype is free computer to computer) -- but with applications like google video chat or msn video conference - being totally free - skype with a usb phone that can charge you for some calls.. seems silly.
- works with any regular phone.
Cons- There are two numbers I cant call - one is my son's girlfriends cell phone. And the second is the cell phone my daughter just bought. They have wierd area codes too..
- Just noticed, after being on the phone for a couple of hours the call sometimes drops. I dont like this. I sometimes do lengthy conference calls.
-------
I wouldnt have renewed for 5 years if I had not be overall pleased with the phone. I am thinking of getting another one for my daughter since all she has is a USB phone.
good luck.
