"Magic in the Mediterranean" Facebook page (and a chance to win a podcast cruise!)

It's great to travel along with you!

I have not been able to become a fan or follow the Magic in the Mediterranean Facebook page. I can look but I don't get updates and I can't post comments. There is no link to join on the page. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening and if I can fix it? Could the group be full?

Facebook secretly changed the way to become a fan. Now you "like" a page and that should add you to the fan list.

Pete is currently posting food porn from the formal night at Palo.

He's killing me with it, really. :faint:
And we have pics of everyone all nice in their formal wear...except Pete. Very sneaky to be the picture taker.

Those pics are torture! :headache:

I think they ordered the WHOLE menu!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I want to go to Palo sometime and just say..."I'll take one of everything..."

This trip has brought a whole new perspective to me on how to tour Europe....Basically, when our family wants to travel to Italy or Europe....We shoud cruise the Mediterranean. It seems a lot better than flying over and then touring via car or public transportation.

two very different trips - one can't really replace the other in my opinion...
you get a very superficial view of a country by dropping in for 10 hours and then leaving...without sleeping or even eating there...

you're not really going to be able to have any sort of understanding of a place without taking the time and immersing yourself, even if for only a few days....
cruising is completely different....one isn't better or worse, just different..

Agreed. It's really what I would like though...Just a taste of each country. :)

agreed! I think my first time to Europe (yet to go) i would prefer to actually be on the ground, staying there, where i feel like i get a little more time in each city or can stay over longer in the ones I am enjoying most etc with out a rush to get back to the ship. I would love to do a cruise though later after we get a chance to tour on the ground at our own pace first.

i am loving all the pics- it looks like an amazing trip and they've done some incredible excursions. this is going on my bucket list!

i wonder which one comes out to be more expensive....
it would be interesting to calculate ...
even though the cruise is very expensive, i have a feeling it might come out cheaper than on the ground.....and it's certainly a lot easier....

i would LOVE to do this cruise (even though i live on the mediterranean)..
it looks like a lot of fun! and i love disney cruises...

although i also love the total immersion approach....
if only i had as much time to travel as Yvet and Emiel ;)

Love all the updates!

Wish we were there as well.

Unfortunately, and as usual, we are not eligible for the cruise giveaway with us being from Canada......c'est la vie. :sad2:
