This reply is ALL Carey's!

So glad to see you posting a little more. I know it's been a tough spring for you, and I sure hope you're ready for some doses of Disney again.
Beautiful picture.

Today is the day Ive decided to get caught up. Maybe seeing all this fun and happiness will be motivating to me.
Oh yeah, I'm not at work, I took a "me" day.
Thanks Carey. I loved that photo too. One of the things I loved is that it wasn't the least bit planned. It just appeared there for me. A happy surprise.
Good for you taking a "me" day. But since that was almost a month ago that you posted that, I bet you're due for another one!
So I'll apologize now, I'm going to gush over your photos and probably "quote reply" your posts and clog up your TR just so I can keep up with my thoughts as I go through.
The lobby is gorgeous! I think I would have climbed the stairs ever if I was tired. Your pictures are stunning.
I recognize your waitress as the one we had back in Sept 2011. She put John in jail for stealing ketchup, that really Kadence stole from another table because she was scared to ask for ketchup. He took the rap. What a nice Daddy.
I think you guys could have used a bottle or two more.
No apologies necessary. I need to thank YOU for keeping my trip report alive while I was being off doing other things!
I thought that waitress was just perfect. Lots of fun, but not so much that it put Katie off. It was a great evening.
I think I would have climbed the stairs if I was tired (Well, I was sort of tired already. We had been in the MK all day! But it WAS our first park day.....) but later in the trip I probably just wouldn't have climbed as MANY of those stairs!
I need to tell you how beautiful Katie is.
Thanks Carey.
Now I want to add Tusker house into our ADR list. I already have more ADR's than I should on my list.
Love the safari photos, and I agree with Jen, Mr Lion was being "friendly" and the Mrs just looked bored.

Doesn't do much for his rep......
I rode Dinosaur all by myself in Nov. It was okay, I don't think I'll be getting Kadence on that anytime soon.
We've still not seen DeVine. maybe I need to slow down.
Katie did good, she must like the ducks. Kadence would have taken lots of self photos and trees.
I'm really enjoying reading though today.
OK, so did you go for Tusker House? We think it's just the best way to start a day at AK. It's so hard though when push comes to shove and you have to pare down that list at ADR time..........
Definitely try to find DeVine. She is just so uniquely Disney.
LOL, I better not tell Katie Kadence likes to take photos of the trees. Or she'll fill up my memory card even faster. And she's good at the self portraits with her ipod, but it's a lot harder with the DSLR.
This is awesome! I never even thought of doing that. I'm going to now!
Kadence is going to LOVE this photo!
So aren't you glad I've added even MORE stair climbing to your next trip? Are you staying at AoA?
And yes, I thought of Kadence and all her awesome poses when I took that photo of Katie with the Tweedles cutouts at DTD.
Love the morning AoA pictures. I guess absence makes one forget the walk and I'm missing AoA right now. I love that we spent the time to fully explore and take it all in.
The movie UP. I've seen it, I will never watch it again. The beginning of that movie is heartbreaking.
Kadence watches it every once in a while, and while I don't think she quite understands the events that begin the movie, the rest is fun to her. She like the dogs that talk. She's sad we missed the M&G with them last year.
I'm usually good at the early morning walks around the resort. But once I'm back at night.......
Katie had seen Up before, but didn't get what happened at the beginning either. I explained it to her when we watched it together. I'm sad we never did their M&G either. We stopped to see the Wreck It Ralph characters this year, even though we still haven't seen that one. One day maybe my DIS friends will shame me into that one too!
Sorry to hear that, I had a rude on too on Main St. in MK. We had been waiting patiently for our turn, and the family in front was almost done and the PP took a magic shot of the little boy.
Our turn, I asked if he could do a magic shot and he acted put out. I got it but it's not great quality.
You have one job, I'm sure set hours, why the attitude?
I don't get it either. I was ticked at the time and thought about saying something but let it go. It just strikes me as odd now. I never quite got it. The line was long-ish, but not terrible. And it would have taken what.....5 more seconds (if that) to take another shot? I guess maybe she was put off that I would question whether she herself noticed the issue but didn't say anything? Who the heck knows.
Same thing with your magic shot. Just dumb. And if you get one with an attitude, it really DOES show up in your photos.
I'm jealous. I really want to do the DTD balloon. I apparently tour with the wrong people!
edited to add, I think the rest is VERY important on
MVMCP nights though. That would have been a hard one for me to decide.
LOL, then you need to tour with Drew! He's the one who pushed me into it. Of course, he was meeting us later that night, so he didn't lose all his rest time like Katie and I did.
The Disney on Ice photos are terrific!!
I haven't been to Disney on Ice since Sam was 18 months old! I know Kadence is deprived.......

Maybe next year when we have no plans to go to WDW.
The arena that the show usually comes to is in Green Bay, and they allowed me my DSLR in when I seen Reba. It's a good thing to check out though.
You have clearly been neglecting your daughter's Disney education. Now get on the ball before I report you! Opening night tickets are $10 and if you act quickly, you can get GREAT seats for that price. Of course, I always feel bad by depriving them of more ticket dollars, so donate some more cash buying a $15 snow cone!
HA! Katie played Evil Queen great! I love Flynns face in the first photo.
Great interaction with Snow White and the Prince.
Okay, gonna put it out there. At BOG, they wouldn't let you split the girls, even thought it was two different rooms? I will have 2 different rooms on our ADR in Nov and I really want to get the girls split. Maybe act like we aren't together? I've still got so much planning to start. Yes, I said start. MY ADR window is May 12th and I have no days lined up or much of anything done. I need a kick.
They don't have a clue at BOG how many rooms you have, just that you were one party for dining.
FWIW.... I heard ahead of that night that there would be only one photo per party, so it didn't come as a complete shock. But given that there were only a couple people behind us, it wouldn't have killed them to let me take a couple more shots. Maybe 15 seconds? I'm really fast, but I guess maybe they don't know that. Still, I have heard MANY more stories since getting back that people were able to get more than one shot. In fact, later in our trip we got some individuals. But I would have liked them in the red gowns that way too.
I really enjoyed seeing the parade from a different angle. I think you really captured the decor to set the scene.
I'm seeing you say your feet hurt, then I think back to the llloooonnnnnggggggg walk back to the LM rooms. I bet stealing one of those laundry carts was a thought!
Congrats to your son on choosing his college. Rolla, thanks to Sam I know a good motel in the area that's cheap and has free breakfast! Oh and she was through Kansas City again this weekend. Meet her dippy sister in Kansas to hand off the baby niece. I'm not even sure you want my email that I keep adding to.
All caught up, now on to Jen's. I'd better get some food and get comfortable.
It was nice to see the parade from another angle. But I did miss not seeing it up close and personal. But I'm glad to mark that off my "to do" list so it doesn't keep nagging at me.
We're all very happy to have Timmy moving forward with his college choice. We have to go down in June for enrollment. It's been a long year.

But it's coming to a close and while I'm ready for summer (so is Timmy!) it only moves us closer to August. I'm sorry, but you guys are going to get really tired of hearing me say that. I'm going to try hard not to cry at graduation, but I'm sure I will. It will be different than it was with Robbie because he wasn't gearing up to leave home.
