Hope y'all are okay across the pond and i am keeping my fingers crossed that the hurricane dosen't cause too much damage :-(

Can somebody please confirm for me what the us travel plug looks like as i am currently looking at buying a travel adaptor strip but want to make sure i am buy the correct one.
Does it have two straight prongs and one rounded?

Our plugs can either have those two straight prongs or they can have those as well as a third prong that is rounded. Both types will work in the three hole sockets.

Either works You might want to buy a voltage converter too so the your electronics don't get fried!

I forgot one when I went to the UK, Italy, and France but I was lucky. Had I known my adapter didn't convert the voltage, I would've made a beeline to the store to get one!

Sorry I am being slow today. I know we talked about this earlier but what was the consensus dining rotation PLA?

Well, I hope it is not the consensus rotation...because I don't want everyone on board to want the same rotation I have requested.

IMHO, the advantage to the PLA rotation is that you spend formal night in Lumieres, the most formal of the restaurants, and pirate night in Parrot Cay.

We got our guarantee assignments today! No upgrades (that's the first time that has happened to us) but we'll be happy with where we are.

DW and I (Twinner2 and LKShep) will be in 5635 and DD (Ctry) with her hubby and our grandson will be next door in 5637.

After looking at the FE spreadsheet, Nicole and Serena need to know that we won't stand for any noisy late night partying next door to us...unless we are invited!

Bummer that we didn't get upgraded, but just happy that we are next door to each other I've got SO much to do in the next 43 days!

I am part of our disaster relief team at work, and just got put on stand by to go somewhere (they did not tell me where) from tomorrow till the 30th. So we shall see.

Thank you!! I know it meant a lot to many after Charlie, Frances, and Jeanne. In my case things were the opposite, DH signed up to take planes out of danger, leaving me home alone! LOL But I was raised here & am used to this & he wasn't. If Irene were hitting us tomorrow as originally thought I'd be alone again.

Kinda slow around here today.

I was busy getting house prepped for Irene & then she decided she didn't want to visit Central Florida I told my friends that everytime I put up shutters the storms go away. So today I spent the day doing 'regular' stuff that wasn't done earlier in the week. Still have to get the lawn done though. After DH gets home Monday we'll take the shutters down.

I'm really hoping that everyone in the Bahamas fairs well with the storm.

But if we were to have the rare late night party..... , your staterooms would be the first to receive an invite!

But seriously, you shouldn't have any problems with us. Nicole usually reads and I'll either read or watch the tv for a little. Otherwise, we will be out and about during the day and conk out upon returning to the stateroom. Which reminds me, do we have to request the beds to be separated before we board or does one person get the couch "fold-down bed"?

I used to share a bed with my sister on vacations but absolutely hated it! We were always at each others throats! Heaven help the man I wind up marrying! If he snores, we'll have separate rooms!

I did call and ask to have the bed separated for this trip. Didn't want to have to deal with the fold out bed, or try to figure out who gets what! I think we will both sleep better knowing that we aren't kicking each other or keeping each other awake with tossing and turning. Not that that would happen, I'm usually so worn out after a day on the ship that I barely hit the bed before I'm out!

Where are you guys at in CO? We are in Florissant which is an hour west of the Springs up the mountain on Hwy 24.
