Magic Gel or Ultra Rest Pillows???

Just returned from the Boardwalk Villas and I enjoyed their pillows. They had a catalog in the room for the Disney Resort Collection. I went on-line today to look into ordering a pillow and their are three choices. I assume that we had either the Ultra Rest Down Alternative or the Magic Gel pillow.

Has anyone ordered one of these pillows and if so, what is your opinion or review of the pillow?

I have both kinds, and love them both. The Magic Gel ones are a little more squishy than the Ultra Rest, but both are super nice pillows.

I just ordered two of the ultra-rest and will let you know how they are. I have been trying to find good pillows for months, so I figured I would give these a try!

They can't be any worse than the crappy ones I have now!

I read this thread and am now thoroughly confused. Why would Disney have a catalog in the room advertising pillows that they don't even use?

I tried looking at the Beyond Down pillows at Belk.com. The website shows the Carpenter Beyond Down pillows for $15.99, but when I click on the shopping cart, they show up at full price. How does one get the sales price?

Excellent question, to which I have no answer. I only know that I and a couple of other Disers actually took pictures of the tags on the pillows while we were there, and they weren't the same as the ones in the catalog. There was also a thread a while back that the mattresses weren't the same as in the catalog either. I would be extremely PO'd if I spent that much money and it wasn't the same.

After reading this thread, I decided to order the Carpenter Beyond Down pillow instead of the Magic Gel pillow from the Disney Resort Collection. It was on sale at belk.com

I hope that I ordered the "right" one.

Who knew that ordering a pillow would be a tougher decision than which resort to stay? I wish I had "accidently" misplaced one in my suitcase last week!

I just ordered all three and I like the ultra rest the best . The gel and the feather ones to me are to soft. These were in a king size. I ordered them online from disneyresortcollection.com
