Magic cruise January 20, 2016 Miami to Bahamas

Hi All. I came looking to see how everyone plans on dealing with Marathon traffic. www.themiamimarathon.com

This will be our third cruise but the first from Miami. My parents cruised with us on our first Disney cruise. My sister and her family are coming along for their first cruise.

93 days to go!

Thank you for this very helpful piece of information. As the day gets closer typically local news outlets will put up a road closure map. To help navigate around. Anyone flying out in the morning should be on top of this info. It could certainly cause problems. I know most marathons only last the morning hours, typically clearing up and reopening streets by 1 or 2pm. Let's hope that's the case. Is there a way to pin this post to help bring it to persons of the Jan 20 cruise attention?

FYI. I reserved a shuttle from the port to FLL on Sunday. The driver does not expect any issues due to the marathon and his magical sea tunnel

Kids have today off and are at camp at the gym. I get a whole day to finish last minute packing and relax.
