Magic Class Ships - Lifespan?

One thing that’s going to bug me about the Magic is that people who take the older ships will WINE and WIMPER about a rust color here or wear marks there. That’s already making me grumpy when I hear them now.

If people want to whine and whimper, let them spend their time instead on the shorter and repetitive Wish cruises -- more space for those of us that prefer the Wonder and the Magic which have more interesting and usually longer cruises at least for now.

The larger ships I would bet are far more profitable as well - cram more people without expanding the amenities quite to match that additional capacity. The extra decks on these larger ships are largely just more staterooms . Make the venues bigger , but pretty much the same offerings. This is economy of scale at work. I’m not criticizing as I like the larger ships , but this seems to be the strategy

The Magic and Wonder still have life left in them.

I would be pretty shocked if DCL doesn't operate all 7 ships for the foreseeable future. DCL's new port agreements suggest the Triton class is about dumping short cruise capacity into the Florida market, not about replacing the older ships.

However, looking forward 10+ years, it seems plausible that the next class of ships could include replacement of the Magic and Wonder.

I don’t disagree with you but honestly I really didn’t see many on either and we’ve been on them both relatively recently. They are in incredible shape considering their age. I just hope I look that good when I’m comparatively as old, oh wait I’m already in trouble .
