Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) **** PART III ****

Deadlines, from the Sticky here on the boards:

• Packages must arrive by Friday by 3:00pm for the 7-Night Cruise on the Disney Magic (Saturday).
• Packages must arrive by Friday by 3:00pm for the 4-Night Cruise on the Disney Wonder (Sunday).
• Packages must arrive by Wednesday by 3:00pm for the 3-Night Cruise on the Disney Wonder (Thursday).

Kimberly, I think you actually have plenty of time.

Has anyone ever done the Couples Choice Massage before? I currently have it booked as a surprise for my wife. Other than rehabbing running injuries, I am not a big massage/spa guy so I am thinking that I would be better off getting her two or three single appointments for the price of this one. Can people please weigh in with their thoughts

I also have the Exotic Rasul booked and I plan on keeping that :woohoo:

DH occasionally mentions how much he is looking forward to our mud fight. :lmao:

I understand completely as does any husband with children running around :)

But given the choice would you rather do a couples massage or 2-3 single spa treatments? I'm afraid I would just nod off and our relaxing time together would just be a nap which I can do in the room.

We LOVE the couple's choice in the Vista Villa! It is our favorite thing to do and even replaced the cabanna massage for us! It is very nice with the hot tub and balcony time as well as the massages. I would highly recommend it and my husband loves it too! We think it is more fun to go together and make a date away from the kids.

This time next week we will be waiting for rope drop at Universal for Harry Potter!:wizard:

Safe travels, All --->

Caryn

Maybe we'll run into you there. We hope to be at the park by 1:00. (Is DD 48", by the way? We measured our DD7 and we think she is going to miss getting to do the rides)

Whew! Thank you :) I actually did some re-packing and think I will be okay but I think even if I put something in the mail tomorrow AM I would be good to go.

I am making my travel binder now and trying to be sure to include all my notes...anyone know where and when the onboard DISmeet will be? I didn't see details on the first page of our thread and so I am thinking it was mentioned somewhere through the discussion but I must have missed it.

Oh, while we are talking about "this time next week..." We will probably be heading to Cocoa Beach after staying in St. Augustine for the night. We always like making that stop on the way down!

Thanks!

Kimberly, which hotel are you staying in Friday night? We are staying at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Cocoa Beach..

DD is about 46" we are going to do the single rider thing for 2 of the 3 HP rides and have one with her while the other rides.

DH doesn't get massages regularly, maybe 1x/3 yrs. I'd be happy with 2-3 solo massages, though! :)

Hi Kimberly,

You haven't missed anything. We still don't have a location from DCL for our DIS meet. If I don't hear something by Tuesday I will pick a place for us to meet and if DCL comes up with something after that we can make changes. I will also post a magnet on my cabin door (8048) with the location for the DIS meet.

My apologies, I was wrong..

Amidst all of the craziness of getting ready for this awesome cruise, we received a phone call from my DD's school that another child has lice:scared1: and that Malia may or may not have lice. Well, when you see my DD's hair you will see that I nearly needed a psychiatric intervention. The list of things I would rather have happen to me is long.
Anyway, we checked every strand of her hair..something she did not enjoy...and found nothing. But we washed, combed and flat ironed all 16 very curly inches of it and hopefully that will end a possible infestation. 20 loads of laundry and 100 dollars at the pharmacy, and another 200 in pillows, linen and cleaning supplies----you can literally eat off of my floors. Which I may have to because I am so tired from non-stop cleaning.

I hope I didn't miss too much but wow you guys have been busy as bees on this board.

On a DCL related note, our package has been received in Orlando. Here's to hoping it makes it to our stateroom :o
Finally, SINGLE DIGIT DAY DANCE :banana::banana:

Finally, for our last day at WDW, it's above 60° and sunny. I'm sure it won't last, but we enjoyed a nice day at Epcot, had lunch @ Nine Dragons and now we're packing for the Magic tomorrow. I'm actually beginning to feel a little bit like my old self, so hopefully I'll be healthy by the time the Xmas cruise leaves port. I've already canceled my snorkel trip for Key West...I'm just not willing to get wet and cold right now. Grand Cayman is TBD, but I think I should be OK by Tuesday (keeping fingers crossed).

For everyone traveling...safe journeys, no delays and happy landings :-) See ya'll in a week :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

I checked online today to see what room availability was looking like and I saw listed Cat 10, Cat 5 & Cat 6. The rates have gone back up - so those of you who booked a month or two ago did great! Ranges from $7,804.44 Cat 10 to $11,004.44 Cat 5 for family of four. For those who were thinking about trying to upgrade at the port - there may be Cat 5 & 6 available, but it didn't look like many. 1073 (Cat 10) was the only cabin number available to book directly, all others were GTY.

1. My daughter (27) is asking if there is anyone over 21 who will be going to Rockin Bar D or any of the other night time entertainment. She's not big on drinking but she still like to go. I'm usually too tired. :cloud9: She'd like to get in a crowd who likes to have fun and dance. Anyone in their 20-30's who can stay up past 11pm?
:rotfl:

I'm 22 and I'll be out and about, (I don't mind staying up late however my brother and sister might lol as I'm in their room), i don't drink and will be glad of the company.

We're all packed here and the snow is melting, it's gone from -20 to about +9 in a couple of days, we can see the front lawn again :D

Tomorrow is Christmas! We're doing our traditional Christmas dinner + sleepover :santa: at a friends then on Sunday we start traveling down to Glasgow, to catch planes on Monday.

Yippeee :yay: and to make things even greater got the best news today!

See you all real soon

... one side note... nearly forgot to pack the FEs oopss... :guilty:

:rotfl:OK, I have a confession :bitelip:- I think it was year before last I packed all my FEs but my husband didn't get the suitcase. Security had gone through my luggage and I was sure they took them all! They included candy and I thought maybe they took them because of the food thing - I was quite upset! I had to go to the ship store and get creative! Yes, I had to do Mickey Drink Coasters for each room vs. what I had made - and of course my FE included a calander that was no good to use on the next year's cruise:rotfl: Now I tripple check all the bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!
