Absolutely! It's amazing how hard of a year it has been for alot of us on this board and yet life goes on and we persevere and recover with a smile on our face. We rejoice at the thought of a New Year with new prospects for health, happiness and prosperity.

What a miracle your story is! I am an ER/ICU nurse and love to see these miracles firsthand. I am anxious to meet you and your family.
You are definately deserving of this vacation. We are looking forward to a wonderful, relaxing Christmas.

I look forward to meeting you too. I have to say the ER and ICU nurses saved my daughters life. She was at Celebration hospital. They received a big award while we were there. I think it was called the Beacon Award. They deserved it. Highly professional and unbelievably caring. They were always giving me the Mother of the Year award because I was there morning noon and night. They delivered food to me so I would eat at least once a day. They even helped my daughter give me a nice birthday dinner. I have a new found respect for Nurses and their pure intelligence and caring.

Last weekend my mom mailed our FE to the port. I hope that works out. I also finally started packing. I hope to finish packing by Sunday. Next week is a busy week because of Raven's Christmas Recital on Thursday. We are also looking forward to the big football game. Whittier Christian is in the CIF Championship game this Saturday. Go Heralds!

Just wanted to say that I've been trying to keep up with reading these posts, every time I check there are pages and pages!

I love hearing that everyone is getting ready to go or are already on there way or better yet are already there.

I am so ready to go! We leave next Wednesday and are driving down from Ontario, Canada. ( I really hope we get good driving weather)

Well, my two little ones are packed and ready to go. Two more boys and two adults to go....I still need to work on wrapping the presents and finding their hiding place until Christmas Eve. The only other thing I have packed is all the little recommendations you've all given over the last few months I've been on here....I think they will be so helpful and just wanted to say thanks for all the advice!!

One whole week til we leave!! Wow..can't believe it's finally here..and the best part is, is I don't have to work after Sunday, so the rest of the week is for getting everything together!!! This is gonna be the best Christmas ever!!

OMG! We just booked the Disney Dream for the January 21st cruise! I am so excited. Funny thing is...I can't find a thread for it

There aren't any "official" meet threads for anything before the MV on 1/26 I believe. Awhile back I saw a couple of threads where TAs were posting they got to book on one of the early cruises, but that's about it. Have fun though- I can't wait for 1/26 but doubt that I'll ever do another MV with Disney.

Thanks my friend! Rick took me back to New Orleans for a couple of days to visit friends (and have char-grilled oysters).

I am cleaning today- we had one friend leave and a couple more coming in tomorrow to go on the 12/12 Wonder cruise with us. Everything else is done for that cruise and everything is staged for the Christmas cruise. It's just a matter of getting back and switching things out.

Lisa – Wow! You did go through a tough time with your DD. Glad to hear she is doing better and you guys were able to take the Med cruise together.

Steve – I am all in for the Recovery & Rejoice cruise. Because of my Mother’s declining health this might be the last cruise we are able to do together so we are definitely Rejoicing this cruise and enjoying each day that we have.

Joann – Glad to hear your flight over was good except for the nightmare. But no worries – even if they didn’t have a cabin for you, you could always bunk up with your DIS friends!

Good morning! Feeling the last minute time crunch here but sooo ready to go too!

Has anyone sent a box to the ship yet? I'm just in NC so not too far to travel to FL...Do you think I still have time if I send one today?

Are they sticklers for the 12" x 12" size? I have a large flat rate priority mail box I could send which I know would fit the requirements but I was hoping to send something a tad bit larger.

We'll be an hour and a half out from our flight taking off to MCO. All will be excited, hoping security isn't tooo bad. Hence us getting there about 9:30 for a 10:55 flight.

I understood this differently. I understood it to be--on 7 nights or longer when it departs on Saturday--it just had to be there by Friday, the day before.

My box was def over 12" but not 24" all the way around. Llike 12 x 17 x something or something. WHen I posted my contents, I put Santa stuff so I'm hoping they will have mercy if it wasn't up to snuff.
