What is the absolute earliest we can get in line at the terminal? Is it possible to line up at the doors around 9 a.m. I know this sounds ridiculous but I need to get one of the low numbers for boarding so I can try and reserve something for my mum.

We got there between 9:30 and 10:00 the year that we went on a 3 night cruise. They let us go on in and get in line. We were about the 5th family in line at that point, and we waited about 30 minutes before they started checking people in. I don't think we actually boarded until around 12:00, so we had to sit around the terminal for a while at that point, but we were one of the first families on board.

I have a question for those of you who have created a DOTD shirt on Cafe Press. When I design my shirt and upload the picture it says it is at the maximum size and won't let be make it any bigger. My question is did this happen to you and did you just leave it at the size(it looks small) or am I doing something wrong?

I don't think there is much benefit to getting there much before 9:30, and maybe not before 10. Depending on when the returning trip clears customs, the porters may still be busy unloading at 9:00, and not be able to take your bags. We have always taken the 10:00 am shuttle from the Radisson, and were always in Group 2 for boarding (Concierge was Group 1).

Something else to think about based on when you board. Do you want an embarkation photo? In the past, they have had two photographers on the left and right. Those not wanting a picture went down the middle. So if you stop for the photo, recognize that others will be getting in front of you. So be ready to have the picture, then move quickly.

You did not mention what you wanted to reserve for your mum, but with an 11 day cruise, I am thinking that there should be enough of a supply. For example, there will be four days for Palo brunch. Right now, the ship is not sold out, so there is even less demand. My guess is if you are in Group 2 or 3, I am thinking you will be okay.

but anyways i would like 2 know some people before i go on the cruise.
im 11 so if you have a daughter 11 or 12 or even 13 i would like to write to them or something. so ill tell u a little abt me, im 11 i like sports and theater glee lost and comedy this is my i think like 7th cruise or 8th. i love the disney i love traveling i dont know if that was a typo or not! haha
but i wud luv 2 meet some kids im not shy so i wud <3 (love) 2 meet!

Current launch schedule conflicts with the Hyatt meet. I don't know the exact statistics, but it seems to me that the shuttle runs at about a 50% probability, or less, of actually launching as scheduled. I would be careful about planning my whole day around it. Usually, you can see the launch from about anywhere in central FL and I have seen it as far away as Tampa. Find a clear view to the east around launch time and there it is. Don't follow the countdown on the internet or TV or you might miss it due to timing delays... Local radio stations, including FM 90.7 may cover it also.

20! That's today's big number. Days left to cruise and pounds I have lost since we booked in September, 11 weeks ago. Goal was to lose about 2 pounds per week over 14 weeks and I am pretty much on track. I am trying to drop a few extra pounds because I plan to gain some of them back on the cruise.

Off to EPCOT today; and ESPN Club is just outside the back gate if there is a must see NFL game...

My mom really wants a Castaway Cay cabana. Which is driving me up the wall. I don't care if we have one but it is all she talks about. I've tried telling her that we probably won't get one even if we are first in line.

I didn't even think about the photographers. I would hate to miss out on that photo but I guess she needs to decide what she wants to do. Picture or shore excursion desk.

I've been working and planning this trip for almost 18 months and it feels like it is all going to be ruined if I can't deliver this one thing for her. Ugh. Can you tell I'm a bit stressed out right now? She wants to be at the Port at 9 a.m.

For those of you who have tried to open the map it isn't going to work. I'm redoing it through Google maps. The map I had done isn't loading onto the web and I don't know why. Hopefully it will ready in a few minutes.

I was finally able to get my Back of the Pack tee ordered tonight. I still have been unable to get the DOTD shirt ordered, but I think wearing the pins will just have to do.

I even got the magnet's for the door figured out. My to do list is getting shorter every day!! The only thing left to buy are some heels. Do they make any that are comfortable??

We had an awesome Thanksgiving!! We had more snow, but everyone was still able to make it. Now the snow is gone and it has warmed up to a balmy 38 degrees. I even made it out shopping on Friday. I can't wait for that Florida and Carribean sunshine!!

I am so excited, I got my Kindle for my birthday!! Loving it so far, but have only uploaded two books and a game!! Have to get a book list going.

Oh good! I'm so mad the other one didn't work. I worked so hard on it. Oh well, this one is just as good.

It should be a really fun port. I fully intend on getting off the boat as soon as we can, walking to a cafe, and having cup of hot coffee and pain au chocolat!

Would anyone be interested in walking into Fort-de-France from the cruise terminal with us? You can hire a taxi for a 5 minute ride but after 20 minutes of haggling it seems kind of silly.

I was thinking we could all walk in as group. Maybe a nice walk to get us ready for the 5K!
