my mom has volunteered to be the nanny so sean and i can play late!! I really look forward to some fun after agnes goes to bed.

Also, i am so super excited. I called our airlines yesterday to confirm our flights and.....they upgraded us!!!!! We get 1st class from seattle to orlando!!!! That definitely makes me more excited to fly across the entire country!

As a fellow Canadian, i have to recommend bringing a couple Tim Horton's large travel mugs...we do this every time we go south as they keep drinks cold in a large enough container that you don't have to keep going back to refill....you can always tell the lushies from Canada...Timmy mugs are dead giveaways

What good Canadian doesn't like Timmy's? Never thought of taking one of their travel mugs....

BTW, DH was in London a few weeks ago and there was lots of Christmas goods to be found. Hopefully you can find what you are looking for.

I can't believe we leave in 8 days...

We have tickets to MVMCP in the 17th. Keeping our fingers crossed that the weather improves a little bit.

This week, I am having the kids try on all their outfits for the cruise. This is always a challenge! My DS's are typical boys...they don't care if it fits or not.

My DD is celebrating her 11th Birthday, with a couple of friends on Friday. Ice skating, dinner and a sleep-over. After that we will be in full packing mode!

I can't wait to met everyone on the ship. My family will be hanging out by the Goofy pool after we board. If anyone would like to join us? I will be the short blonde lady... with a camera in one hand and a DOTD in the other. lol

Is Lola coming on the cruise? I have visions of her popping up all over the ship in different outfits (pool, Palo, Rockin Bar D). Kind of like an adult version of "Elf on the Shelf".

Warm wishes for early arrivers in Florida

Escaped today to THE mall in Nashville, the one where if I want to fit in I need to be 30# lighter, 5" taller, and a whole lot blonder - possibly 10 years younger, too. Found fresh make up - previous was just about gone, a new dress , another swim suit for DD6, See's Candies , and some Godiva . On the way back stopped at a costume company and found a more generously cut male pirate costume for DH - it is official -- we ALL have costumes for Pirate Night. Got home and the Vera Bradley order was in and the lanyard, tech holder for camera, and ID holder.

Things are coming together!!!!!

Does anyone happen to have any photo book codes for shutterfly? I made books for the grandparents (actually they came so cute I think I need to order one too ) and I went to order them and realized my code expired yesterday!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really hope I can get everything completed before the cruise. My time is running out. I need a few more days. I wish I could day off work. But, that is not my style. I feel bad about taking off next Friday. So, I will need to work all weekend on all of my jobs. I am sure I will get all of them completed even if I am hemming pants on the plane.
I guess since I am flying Southwest I do not think I will get the upgrade. At least luggage is free.

Everything is packed and ready to go in the cars. We are staying at Gatwick Airport today and fly out around 11am tomorrow. So I wont be posting as much.

Whats first class??

Amy says she gets to sit up front in the big fluffy chairs because it allows the plane to fly better... something about being lighter up front.

Also she says its safer for the kids and I to sit in back. Kinda like sitting in the back of the car. Thats why the kids and I always have to sit in back. She loves us so much

that is good news, I was hoping for some good shopping...I am actually on a Virgin train now (yay for free wireless on Virgin!), bound for London from Coventry - very excited! The people here in the UK are super nice, I love this country and will have to come back as a tourist some day....

Lol, Lola reminds me of a life size cut out we once had at work, of a Mountie, complete with red coat, riding boots and wide brimmed hat....I think everyone of us moved him at one point or another and hence he would show up in the unlikeliest of places, such as the mailroom, in the elevators and once scared the crap out of me in the ladies bathroom. Lola would be a great addition to the cruise!

Wow...I have so much catching up to do. I feel the excitement building on our thread, and I need it to get excited again.

I was not feeling well because of my RA. My body is no longer responding to my medication. I was in a lot of joint pain, and my spirits were down for a bit. I even said those words, "I do not even want to go on the cruise." But I am happy to report after a few shots and increasing my dosages of mexthorexate and Celebrex, I am feeling much BETTER. So I am getting excited about the cruise again, and I just need to get over the fatigue so I can get in the mood to start packing. I need to get motivated quickly because time is flying.

Lisa - I was just telling Alyssa that I hadn't seen you on the boards in a little while. Sorry to hear your RA was acting up but glad you are feeling better now. Have a DOTD and think about the breeze blowing in your hair on deck 10 and I bet that will bet you in the mood.

Finally got my DOTD shirts yesterday. I know mine will fit but I hope Brittany's does. I might have Alyssa try it on just to check.

Busy weekend for us here in Iowa. Alyssa has her Christmas dance recital this weekend with dress rehersals on Friday, two shows on Saturday and one show on Sunday. I only have to go to one show so I will spend the rest of the time packing.

Brittany and her boyfriend have their MAJOR presentation today for their policy class and then maybe she can quit stressing. This class has been so stressful for her this semester and she will be glad to get it over with and get on the cruise.

Vanessa - if I remember correctly - you are defending your dissertation this weekend. I just wanted to wish you good luck!

Melissa - have you left Iraq yet? I was thinking about you yesterday and I know that you hooking back up with your family will be great.

We still haven't heard anything from DCL regarding the location of our DIS Meet but I am still checking. I will post a manget on my cabin door (8048) with the location of the meet just in case some of you head out on vacation before we find out.
