Magic cast member John

Does anyone know how to get in touch with John. Or have any information on where he is now working? This Spring he was on the Magic and he hosted the 70's night and called bingo.

John did an outstanding job when he sailed with the Magic. Does anyone know if he's considering coming back?

Are you talking about John the bingo KING? He was wonderful. We learned so much about WALES. We loved listening to him talk. I thought I read awhile back that he went back home to Wales. We never made it to 70's night. Had we known he would have been there we would have went. Hope he comes back.

Yes, I am talking about John the Bingo King. He was so very entertaining. Do you know where in Wales was "home" or what he was planning to do back in Wales? I was amazed at how he was able to multi-task and entertain and keep his cool!

I do remember him telling about his home town but I can not remember the name. SORRY. I think I read that his girlfriend was missing him so that is one of the reasons he went home.

We cruise Spring break 2004 and we hope he is back.

We loved all the jokes that he told. Kept the game so fun.
Not sure if I will go play Bingo since he is gone.

I hope he is back! He was interesting and entertaining...he kept me coming back even when I didn't win a thing....it was worth the laughs!

I just have to mention that I just got back. Andy was our Bingo King and he really did a super job. John wasn't doing Bingo last summer. He was good for the evening activities. This summer's crew exceeded my expectations and I can honestly say it was great. So I think DCL has done an excellent job of training and finding terrific CMs. You will have a blast no matter what!!!!!!

Aw man... John is gone??? He was easy on the eyes as well as entertaining!!

I thought his girlfriend was on the Magic with him??? I thought she worked in the spa????

I kinda thought he and Andrea might be a match. They seemed to interact very well together.

I thought the same thing about his girlfriend about being on the ship. Wish I could do a search cause I though a few months back someone said he left to go home for her.
Was anyone on the Dis one of the lucky ones that got go up and check the balls?

Bumping this post! Anyone know who's on the Magic (when it returns to sea) on the entertainment crew staff? We have such great memories from the last two cruises in Rockin' Bar D. Just wondering whose manning the ship now.

I'm sure there are more recent cruisers that I but here goes...

The last cruise before drydock was Ellen, Karen, Brett, Andy, Andrea,CheChe, Josh and my apologies to anyone I forgot..

Andrea broke her foot during the cruise and was to be taking a short leave (it is hard to teach dancing with just one foot-worse than with two left ones).

John has returned to Wales and had no plans to return to DCL. Ellen still keeps in touch with John and Ian. Ian went to another cruise line for a short time and then returned to London and was doing some work in commercials. Karen was going to be going on her first holiday break rather than drydock.

Thx Sandy, great updates! I was wondering how Ian did after he left DCL. Ellen also indicated to me that when she left DCL, she would be trying to get into commercials. Ian was a very charismatic person and I hope he is successful. If not, I hope he comes back, he had great energy with the kids and the adults!

On the 10/11 Western Magic the Cruise Staff consisted of Ellen, Brent, Josh, ShiShi and a couple of others (including one Englishman who had a terrific Austin Powers "Yeah, Baby").

Ellen and Brent were due to take their vacations but both planned to come back afterwards. Josh will finish out his contract and then will be going to the Wonder's Main Stage cast (doing the shows in the Walt Disney Theater). He was very excited about this although I told him he would be missed!
