Magic Bands

Does anyone know if Magic Bands are available at DL yet and if not when they will be? Also would love to hear from people if they think a Magic Band is easier to enter the park and check in for Genie+ than using your phone.

Magic bands are the best. I’ve only been to disneyworld twice and both times I’ve greatly missed magic bands on my post trip Disneyland visits.

They have not been implemented at DLR yet, and no start date has been announced.

Having used MagicBands at WDW, I do find it easier - especially park entry. It takes a lot less time to scan a band than for people to pull out their phones, open the app, and have them scanned.

I'm not a fan of using a phone the way that DLR expects people to - I actually printed my Magic Key code onto a card so that I could use that instead, and it's so much faster than dealing with a phone.

No word yet, but I hope it is soon. I have always used the paper tickets instead of my phone, but still a PITA compared to MagicBands. So happy they are finally coming to DLR!
