We've been told there is a cap, too - but no one seems to have an accurate number. We've had as many as 20 active bands/cards and things worked fine. We've also reduced the actives to 6 and had issues. I'm not convinced there is an issue with that many active bands. I often think it is a "go-to" reason the cast members give because it's what the tech team tells them. I know the issue is technical, but it seems somewhat sporadic in our experiences. That being said, we do now inactivate most of them, and only activate the bands we're taking along. It hasn't eliminated issues, but it seems to work better.
