Magic Bands: what happens if I don't confirm shipping address?

Hi all, quick question. I would like to prevent yet another set of magic bands from shipping. We are going to WDW in July and November, and in November had to do a split stay for one night due to our room category not being available. This means I will get two sets of Magic Bands. If I only confirm my shipping address for one part of the trip, will it prevent them from shipping the second set??? Thanks in advance!

2. Maybe. Some suggest this as a way of stopping another set of MB from being shipped.
Some say that is didn't work.

They won't ship them but they will be waiting for you when you arrive!! We had a split stay in Dec and got two each. Booked another split stay this past month and had them at both BW and BLT. We told CM at both resorts we didn't want them but after our first day at BLT they were "magically" in our room.

I swear Disney gets points for every MB they hand out!

I hope they get that glitch ironed out soon. I asked a CM on our last trip if that would eventually stop (getting repeat sets for each reservation), and he said yes, but he didn't know when.

others have had no problems using any and all of their MB's interchangeably.

We used the same band for all 4 hotels (2 in Dec and 2 in May). They were already linked to our MDE and when we linked our DVC reservation we didn't have to do anything at the resort(s)

Take any bands you want to use, and then try them on your door lock when you first get to your room. They should work but from what I understood, if you try to use a band later that you didn't try on the door lock on the first day it may not work.

We just got back from a trip, and when we checked in, the CM said that we should deactivate all of the previous magic bands on the account. We had 3 old sets from previous stays.

I don't know how to do that, and wouldn't know which ones to deactivate and which to keep. So he did it for us and only left active the ones from this trip.

The reason he said to do it was that the system starts to get confused sometimes when you have multiple sets of bands attached to your account.

We each had a couple of magic bands for our late May 2014 trip and were able to use them interchangeably every day.
