Magic Bands/Tickets

I have my magic bands but my son ,DIL and granddaughter who are going into the parks with us do not. What is the deal now when we pick up tickets at the booth are those tickets what is used for FP or do they get a magic band somewhere? When we go we will be arriving early in the morning and I do not want to have to go to the hotel first to get the bands. My granddaughter is the one that is staying at the hotel with us so I assumed her band would be there when we checked in.

I have our fast passes all set up already. They are connected to mine.

I don't really understand your question. If you granddaughter is staying on site with you and the system knows it, she will get a magic band mailed to her. All onsite guests get one. If the others are off-site they do not get magic bands at all and will have to purchase them if they want them.

I was afraid I wasn't clear. We did not get the bands sent to us or if they did get sent they went to my house in CA but I am in NC now so we would have to get them at hotel. I didnt want to do that first I want to go straight to park. My son and DIL are not staying at hotel either so they would not have had them. As long as the tickets work for FP screening it all good.

If you don't get a MB from staying at a WDW resort or you decline to purchase a MB, the tickets WILL allow FP+ use.
MBs are not required for FP+ use.
