Magic Bands - Staying Offsite

I'm in the very early stages of planning our very first WDW trip. A friend has graciously offered her condo to us for our trip, so we'll be staying offsite. Disneyland doesn't have magic bands, so I'm still trying to understand whether or not we need to get them. Are they available for offsite guests? Are they a the only way to use FP+?

You won't need MagicBands. Your Park Ticket also functions as your FP ticket at all FP lines.

If you plan to purchase Memory Maker, you should have at least one MagicBand to be able to have all photos and videos linked to your Memory Maker account. MagicBands can be purchased in shops throughout the resort.

Required no, but they are very handy. And as mentioned if you are doing memory maker they save so much time since the ride photos auto link to your account. You can buy them on the disneystore.com before you leave.
