Magic Bands Shipping

Quick question. How soon due Magic Bans ship once final payment has been made.

It doesn't have anything to do with final payment. About 30 -40 days before your check-in date, they are often sent. It takes about a week to get to the mailbox after that.

My free solid bands arrive ~3 weeks before the trip. I recently got a "premium" MB with the new promotion and that came one week after purchase.

Yup as others said, its generally about 30-40 days before your trip, unless you do premium bands, those ship within a couple of days of ordering.

Depends on when you customize them and which MBs you select.

If you select only the free MBs:

If customized more than 30 days prior to check in, they will start to process them at 30 days and ship shortly thereafter.​

If customized less than 30 days prior to check in, they will start to process them the next day and ship shortly thereafter.​

If you select any premium (paid) upgrade MBs:

They will start to process them immediately and ship shortly thereafter. You can't change or cancel a MB order if it contains any premium MBs. Also, if you cancel the room reservation, you will be charged $14.99 per premium MB ordered.​

I picked the upgraded options and got the bands about a week after I ordered them. We were just inside of 60 days out when I ordered them.

If you order the upgraded magic bands, make sure you check to see if your "souvenir" luggage tags are included in the shipment. Ours were not and I called and was told they should have been included and they shipped them to me immediately. It wasn't going to be a big deal but they are a nice keepsake.

I figured I wouldn't bother now because if I picked some that were not available for shipping a few months before our trip, we'd just have to pick other ones. If they are the upgraded ones and Disney hasn't changed how they do things, yes. I was able to get in the first day the upgraded bands were available and they were shipped immediately, months before our vacation.

Good to know. The first day I looked at them (last week) I saw the ones I wanted, but today, alas, they are not an option. I guess just keep checking? We just want Donald and Daisy!

Thanks! We have just gone with the solid color ones for all of us, but for DH and me, I thought premium ones would be fun!

I booked my trip last week for Sept 13th and received my bands already. They were really quick getting them out. Granted, I did order upgraded ones.

I ordered mine 12 days ago, received confirmation email but no tracking or delivery. Have sent multiple emails and phone calls but keep getting runaround. I leave in 5 days and now I’m upset I most likely wont get them til AFTER I’ve left (which does me no good). Getting really really frustrated at the lack of concern and my phone calls and inquiries

Does anyone know if you are renting DVC points if they also ship the bands to you, or do you pick them up at check-in? MDE says I have until Oct 3 to modify mine but its not clear if they ship them. I was going to post a new thread, but saw this one. Thanks!

Staying in a DVC room is the same for Magic Bands as any other room onsite. If you live in the US, they will be mailed to you.
