Magic Bands question

If you receive a magic band at check in... then purchase a new one (fun style etc) during your trip, How do you have it transfered so you can use the new band?

Second question. How does it work if you buy a premier Annual pass for both Disneyland and Disney world?? WDW would use the magic Band but Disneyland you would need the old pass. Would you just receive both? How does this work? Thanks for any information!

I can only answer the first question. When you purchase a band, the CM can link it to your MDE account. You can then use the old band OR the new band...they are interchangeable.

If you purchase the Premier Passport, it will be issued on a card. This card has both the RFID chip for WDW and barcode for DL.

After purchase you can link the pass to MDE and you would then be able to request at MagicBand.

Q. I have a Disney Premier Passport. Do I receive a MagicBand?
A. If you have a Disney Premier Passport, please follow these simple steps at least 10 days before you plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort and your MagicBand will be delivered straight to your home:

1. Create or sign into your Disney account.
2. Link your Disney Premier Passport to your Disney account, if you have not already done so.
3. Customize your MagicBand.

Please continue to bring your Disney Premier Passport to both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. You will need the Disney Premier Passport for admission to Disneyland Resort theme parks and for your Passholder discounts at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
