Magic Bands & Old Tickets Question

Please help my confusion! Our family has three sets of Magic Bands active on MDE. One set of our tickets from several years ago still has two Park Hopper days and eight Water Park days remaining with the Non-Expiring Option (remember those good ol' days of No Expiration?).

So my husband and son only are taking a quick trip to WDW this week, and they have purchased the 4-Park Magic Select tickets thru Undercover Tourist, as they have exactly four days to tour parks and they want one park per day with no hopping. I have registered their new tickets online at MDE, but when they enter each park, we DO NOT want the old Non-Expiring Park Hoppers to be used, as we can keep them for a future family trip when we plan to Park-Hop. Is there a way to set up their bands online so that they are GUARANTEED to use the new Magic Select tickets and not the older (and much more valuable) non-expiring park hoppers? I know they can visit Guest Services, but with such a very quick trip, they hate to waste any time standing in line for that, and I'm hoping we can fix it online prior to the trip. I'm so afraid that as they enter the park, it will automatically use the older tickets. Please advise me! Thank you!!!

There is no way for your to prioritize their tickets. Their best bet is to go to guest services as soon as it is open, to have the new ticket prioritized. Depending on arrival, they could go on arrival day if they are not doing a park that day.

Their magic bands are already linked so nothing you can do with those.
However you may be able to manage "fake DH and Fake DS" and transfer the tickets to their fake names and then either just have them use the plastic tickets or purchase new magic bands and link them to those fake names.

If you don't want to go through all that trouble then they are gonna need to go to guest services to prioritize.
