Magic bands lost in mail

We are supposed to arrive on Saturday and the tracking information for our magic bands says they are across the country. My questions are:

1) can I still go directly to the park or do I need to go to the resort first to fix this issue? Can I use tickets on my phone?

2) This is the first time we have purchased custom bands-will they refund the money or give us new ones? Any experience?

1a) Yes.
1b) Nope. Just have a legal ID with you and your ticket info.
(Having the INFO on a phone is fine, but they will issue you plastic ticket cards to use to enter/re-enter the park.)
2) Just ask nicely for what you'd like.

This must be getting more common. We ordered custom magic bands too. We arrive on Monday and didn’t receive ours either. They shipped on November 25, and according to tracking info they have been on a whirlwind tour all around the country while not getting anywhere close to our home in Tennessee. 😂
 
Us too actually. We don't arrive until Christmas Day, but our bands showed as shipped before Thanksgiving and disappeared off the USPS radar a few days ago nowhere near our house.
 

Ours were supposed to be at the resort upon arrival. I ordered multiple different special ones. We got all grey, and most wouldn’t open the door. :confused3
 
Ours were sitting 15 miles from our house in a distribution center for the last 4 days!
 
We only ordered the free bands for our trip at the end of the month, but ours also took a strange and inefficient way of getting to us as well. They took over a week to arrive and went from FL to GA to TN and then back to our home state of FL again. I thought surely they would be lost. At some point in the tracking they were transferred from a company called “OCM” to the USPS—I was wondering if that was why the strange route.
 
I ordered custom magic bands Nov 15th, shipped on the 22nd. Didn't even arrive before or after my trip, Tracking shows it went all over the country FL, GA, illinois, and Vegas back to illinois then to the state where I live. Now is says on a truck about 30 minutes away from where I live, and has been that way for almost 2 weeks. One chat agent gave me a the merch line and they said they couldn't do anything about it since it is in USPS hands. I didn't have the band for my trip or Magical extras, so the resort had to manually give me the discounts by showing them the receipts from the stores that gives the discount.
 
On a prior trip, we did not get ours in time. They refunded the purchase and we received plain ones at the resort ( blue, pink) when I got home the bands were sitting on my doorstep.

I called only 2 days ahead and they were waiting for us at the hotel and they were our customized ones. It wasn’t any issue at all-just give them a call.
 
Our little MB box was also delayed quite a bit and I called Disney after tracking showed they were about 15 miles way for over a week.

They sent a replacement set to our resort.

The original ones did show right before we left, but it would have been a close call!

The USPS has been having difficulty delivering small packages in this age of covid.

I have almost the same thing, except my magic bands shipped on 12/3 and has a departure date from Austell, GA of 12/10. We leave in less than a week. Looks like I'll have to call Disney soon...

Did you just call the normal number, or is there a different one?

You can track on the OSM WORLDWIDE site, mine was actually further along than what USPS was showing. Still haven't gotten them yet though.
