Magic Bands info for the new test dates in August

We are at 16 days out. I was expecting my email and letter from Disney yesterday to test the MBs, but nothing came. I've already received my MBs in the mail, and my FP+ selections have been made. Do you think they'll be honored? I've made my touring plans around my FP+ selections.

I'm curious, did you call and ask? What resort are you staying at?

Does UPS deliver on Saturdays? Maybe the letter will come tomorrow. We received our letter (17 days out) but never received an e-mail.

Since it's Sunday, I bet you will get your UPS delivered package tomorrow, though we are also 16 days out and received the UPS envelope with invitation and email yesterday. I definitely think they will be honored, you would not have been able to customize your bands or book fastpass+ times, if your reservation did not qualify for testing. We just booked this trip less than 2 weeks ago and as soon as our reservation was linked we were able to go through the process. :thumbsup2

Arg! I wonder what happened to mine? As long as they still honor them! I am loving the idea of FP+. No running the park for FPs! Good viewing for Wishes and the parades! We are having a laid-back trip this time, so maybe I would feel differently if I felt like I needed to do it all this time.
 
to those who got email/UPS invitations, were they personalized or just like a standard flyer? Mine is just a standard flyer that says "You are invited to help Test....", no letter or anything. it was sent to me by my Travel Agency (I happen to be an agent).

I did personalize and received my MBands.

I don't know....I can't even do anything with it at this point because I'm not picking up my ticket 'til I get there so I can't link it now. And with such a short trip (only 4 nights) that I'm trying to jam a lot of stuff into, I don't see me having much time/desire to spend a lot of time on my (world's slowest) smart phone trying to figure it all out. I guess for me it will just be using it as my room key/park tickets, and then if I come across a kiosk I can use to request a FP, i may do it if it looks simple enough

Same situation here, except we're now inside of 15 days and no "official word". Could it have something to do with the fact that I booked our rooms (split stay - Pop and AKL) through Travelocity in early July? Shortly afterwards MDE prompted me for FP+ selections, which have now been made, and we've received the MBs that were customized via the MDE prompt. Just no email or letter to confirm we're testers.

I can't promise anything, but I can tell you how I'd feel it it were me: I wouldn't be the least bit worried about an email or a UPS letter inviting me. As long as I was able to order my Magicbands, make FP+ selections, and my bands arrived, I wouldn't be concerned. You're in.
 
I just got my second letter and email today. But I wouldn't really worry about the letter.

I never got a UPS letter, but I did get the second email today. For those of you staying at the participating resorts who were able to customize magicbands, I really wouldn't worry if you didn't get the letter/email.
 
does anyone have the # to call about FP+? I think I may have screwed up my account trying to add DH's ticket. Grr.... I have 407-939-7849 but it's just busy.

ok, I see what I did. Are there any "experts" here who might know how to fix this? I went to link DH's ticket (just bought, picking up at Will Call). I don't have a ticket yet (getting a TA ticket). But it added his ticket # to my name. Is this going to even matter in the grand scheme of things? I mean, linking the ticket on MDE doesn't actually link it to me, does it? So that when we get there and DH goes to use it, there will be a problem? Anyone???

where do you go to see that link? I think the problem may be that I don't have a ticket # for myself and I would need to have one for myself before I can assign others. I'm assuming anyways.

Just checked my account, and if you go to My Reservations and then look at tickets and passes it will show who each ticket is assigned to. Under the name mine have a link to Reassign ticket. (I am using the regular website, not an app)

thank you!!! Phew, I can relax now. :thumbsup2 The website is just so darn slow, it's painful trying to figure ANYTHING out.

ETA: Ok, I click on "reassign" and then "done".......but it doesn't reassign it. Grrr......
