Has anyone had any problems with their MB's popping off? After receiving it via UPS and taking a look at it, I am concerned that it may get caught somehow and pop right off. Anyone have problems with this?

Nothing a little super glue and a stapler can't fix. ;) Not to your skin, though...unless you REALLY don't want it to fall off.

We didn't really have any trouble with ours, but it is possible. DD's popped open once or twice during the week and slid off over her hand one day (FYI- we found as the week goes on -at least in warm temperatures- the bands stretch out and you have to switch the holes you have been putting the pegs in). Unless you really aren't paying attention, you should know right when something like that happens. We found 3 magic bands during our trip- 2 in the parks and one in Stormalong Bay. I'd say just try not to mess with them or take them on and off too much. I've also heard reports of the pegs snapping off by the end of the week.

You can also use a MagicSlider accessory to keep it in place if you are worried about it. You would have to buy a pack of them, but they at least they are useful decorations :)

We have an extra set (loooong story) and have been wearing them at home off and on for our dd to get used to them. They are still very secure and haven't come close to falling off.

Yes, when carrying a toddler around or swimming, they can come off easily. My husband lost his in the pool and stepped on it and didn't even know he had lost it. I lost mine once while carrying DS and my husband picked it up behind me. We got lucky both times. I never slept with it on because it was too uncomfortable.

No issues. DS8, DD7, DH and I used them for 13 days -- loved everything about them and didn't have issues with them falling off.

We know several people who have them and they say there is no problem at all keeping them on. They are very secure.

Yes, my fiancee had her band fall off twice. The second time, she didn't even notice it and they had to replace it. Guest Services said that it's been happening a lot. It's not that the bands just fall off, but a lot of the time, they get caught on something (like the door, the side of the bed, a passing stroller, or a passerby's backpack) and it rips it right off your hand, sometimes without the owner of the band realizing it. This happens both with and without the covers. Also, we lost all four of our bandits. They just fell right out of the holes of our bands. We were very sad that we wasted money on them.

All in all, we loved the bands a lot!!! But the sturdiness of it was our biggest problem.

I thought they were much more secure than I expected .... but DS lost his. He scanned to go on RNR, then when we got off - gone. I had high hopes since it was probably on the floor of RNR that they would pick up and send to resort. Unless of course it landed in a car and then am sure someone took home with them.

DS was very upset that he got his cool lime green band with his name replaced with a grey one so we bought a cover for it. I probably should have bought it earlier as that would have helped keep it on, been softer on his wrist (he doesn't like to wear anything) and he got lots of attention from CMs who had not seen the covers yet. (We were there early Sept).

We had this same experience. One of us would pick up a kid, and the next thing you know the band was MIA. I did write in to Disney and let them know about this. We shouldn't have to purchase accessories to make the band more secure.

For cheap extra security, you can slip a small rubber band (like the kind used for pony tails) onto it before snapping it on. Then roll the band over the end to secure. Alternately, a small piece of sticky back Velcro would also do the trick.

We had no problems and rode all the rides and were in the pool a lot.

I was questioning it's secureness as well, I'll be packing duct tape! You can never go wrong with a little duck!;)

Mine popped open a couple times when holding my 2 year old on the bus. Thankfully it stayed on my wrist and I was able to reconnect it quickly. No other issues.?

Yup mine too. I lost mine several times while picking up and holding my son. The way I hold him pulled on the wrist band and it popped off easily. Luckily each time I noticed and was able to grab and reattach the band. My husband and 3 year old never had any problems.
