Yes look under they fall down in the whole the bands are in. We got them with our bands.

There are two advantages that I can think of:
1. Some cast members will remind you of your DVC discount if they see it on your band.
2. If you place it over the clasp area it will keep the Magic Band from becoming unclasped.
It serves no other purpose other than decorative.

Thanks for that first tip! When we got ours for our trip last month, I just threw them in a drawer and left them at home. I didm''t even know they slid, as opposed to be stuck on and I'd heard so many stories in the past about MB things falling off. Next time I'll wear the slider to alert CMs I'm a DVC member and might be eligible for a discount.

We just got 2 sets of Magic Bands for 7 people, so just added 14 sliders to the collection.
Only 2 of us are members.

We just got our magic bands for our upcoming visit and our DVC sliders were included in the package- put them right on the bands already

You can ask for them at the front desk of any DVC resort. That's how we got them in May.
