Not sure this is the right place to post something about the Magic Bands, but here goes. I just have to say that so far I'm not impressed. Went online to put in our fastpass preferences and was so disappointed that I couldn't get more than 2 choices and that I couldn't even pick my own time. I really hate the way they have this setup. Please Disney chuck this new idea, and let us pick our own fastpass choices the old way. To me this is a real loser of an idea. What does anyone else think? :confused3

Everyone gets three choices, not two. As for picking times, you can move them around once you book them. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, but you can do quite a bit of manipulation per others I know.

Lastly, this isn't really about the Magic Band, what you are talking about is the My Disney Experience app/website.

Also keep in mind that it also my maybe due to the fact that all FP's are gone for certain times.

When my friends and I booked TSM (although we booked all our FP selections the morning of our park visit), it was at 6:30 PM and all earlier times were totally gone.

But you do get 3 choices and you can change them once they are made.

You do get three choices. Some parks have two tiers of choices and you can pick one from column A and two from column B. But it's always 3.

And yes, the computer will initially pick times for you, but you can go back in and change them for times you like better. Just remember it won't let you move a FP to a time where you already have a FP, so be sure to move the one you don't want in that time slot first.

It takes some getting used to, but you can change the times around.

The only thing I don't like about this was is that all of your fast passes have to be in the same park. If you have park hoppers or annual passes this is annoying. There are times I want a fast pass for just one ride at 1 park, but my other 2 fast passes need to be at the same park, when I'd prefer to have them at a different park.

I did not think I would like the magic bands as I generally don't like thinks on my wrist/arms. But I've used them twice now and they are very comfortable and I love not having to dig out my park ticket all the time!

Moving to the Theme Parks board... :)

Thank you for all your comments. You are right you do get 3 choices, my mistake. My main probelm with the new fastpass is you used to be able to get more than 3 fastpasses per day, at least at DLR. I'm sure after they get everyones feedback they will smooth out some of the issues we all have. I was frustrated with it when I wrote my first comment.
