Magic bands and pin code?

Hi I have searched but have not found the answer for my question.
With the covid changes at the park, do I no longer have to enter my pin at retail points of sale? Or is a pin still required to purchase or pay for items on my magic band?

A pin code is still required when using a MB.

So we usually charge on the band and pay off at the resort with Disney gift cards every so often. Can we associate GC's to MDE too or just debit credit cards? Trying to figure out how to be the most hands free possible during our trip.

You cannot attach a Giftcard to your MDE account. Debit/credit cards only..
