Magic Bands 101

You're welcome. I have a split stay, so I get two sets of MBs. The email for my 1st set came July 11 and I rec'd them yesterday (the 15th). The email for my 2d set came July 14 and my MBs arrived today (the 16th)! Have fun

I have a RO reservation before and after my package starts. So we have 3 Sets of bands coming. We'll switch them out to match what we're wearing that day. Of course my daughter wants an Anna one, besides.

It's so fun! We have a set from February. I definitely want to have one of each (except grey and orange, actually). I definitely hope to get some themed ones as well

I have a trip October/November, staying at 3 different resorts, so getting 3 different magic bands. That will complete my set!! I got the gray one and painted it purple with glittery fingernail polish. Lots of CMs commented on it.

Has anyone seen the Pirates and Princess bands yet? Are they $12.95?

Hey quick question that maybe someone has already asked so apologies in advance if that's the case. I ordered our disney tickets online and am supposed to pick them up at the park but through the confirmation number have already linked them with our MagicBands, will I still need to pick up the hard tickets at a park or will we be able to just walk up to the gate? Thanks in advance for all your help.

We have booked a last minute trip (yesterday) and are arriving July 28. Will my MBs be waiting at the resort? I am assuming that there is not enough time for Disney to ship them to me. What happens if they are not at the resort? TIA

No, there is time to get them delivered. It only takes about three-five days to get them.

They usually ship on the next business day.

I have made my FP+ selections. Will those be automatically installed on my MBs when they arrive or is there yet another step for activation?

The MBs are linked to your reservation in MDX already, so no other steps required.

To be clear, there is nothing "on" the bands beyond a unique identifier that allows access to Disney's secure servers.

Frozen bands are available for purchase only at the parks.

But how would you be able to load the stuff on them....I assume you can purchase them and use for your next trip...would I be correct with that?

You link them to your account at purchase and they are ready to go there and then.

Nothing is actually "loaded" on the bands, they are just connected to your MDX account.

The Frozen ones are the only ones I'm aware of and as far as I know they're only available in Wanderin' Oaken's Trading Post (I think that's the name of it) in DHS.
