Personally I like my MB+ because I know it will have the longer range functions whereas I felt I needed to replace my older bands to be sure they had that ability. My MB+ has lasted a long time so far and I even lost it in Epcot a couple weeks ago and it just came back to me via US mail Saturday after being found by someone and turned in to lost and found. I was afraid I was going to have to buy another one.
