Magic band shipping question

I just renewed my APs last weekend and ordered new magic bands. How can I find out when they ship? Do they send me an email? I can't remember from the last time I did this.
I was hoping to get them before we leave April 15.

I don't have an AP, so I could be wrong, but I thought I've read that you don't get the AP magic band until after you've activated the AP. It sounds like you already have magic bands though, so you can just use those.

I just rented my AP and I think I got my MB within 10 or so days so you should be OK it might be a little close.

I think the first time you do have to use it first then after that you do not or at lest this is how it worked for me.
