Magic Band Shipping Question

Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes from the personalization cut-off date to when they are shipped out? We are now a week past the cut-off and MDE still says to "check back soon for shipping status."

They started out shipping them out very quickly. This time I got a similar message for awhile (don't remember how long). We received our magic bands 15 days before our trip date.

Mine also say they're being personalized and to check back soon for shipping details!

Mine shipped within just a few days of personalization when we renewed our AP's just the other day.

I had two reservations. One set of magicbands shipped, the other got stalled at the customization step. I called and they "released the hold." Got the band within a couple days.

I would advise calling if it seems stalled.

We've had them ship within 2 days of customizing stopped notice and we've had them ship 2 weeks after.
Just depends.
Make sure you have verified your address

How exactly do you verify your address? On Monday of this week I received an email indicating that my magic bands would be shipping soon and that I just needed to verify my address. I clicked the link in the email which took me to the Magic Bands section of MDE, but there was no way to actually confirm or verify that my address was correct. The next day I received the same email and again clicked the link with the same result.

We went to WDW in June and I don't remember this step in the process.

I think....it has been awhile, you go to the Magic Band page in your MDE and click on the upcoming one which should take you to the page that shows the colors and names you choose.
Your name and address should be listed. Next to your name is an edit address button.
Just go there and either enter it or just check it. I think that is all you have to do .
Maybe someone else can verify

I personalized mine on the MDE site, but because I'll be visiting from Australia, I have to pickup my band when I checkin at the resort , does anyone know if i'll get the band I customized online or the a generic grey band?

It should be as customized.

Ditto to the above. If it seems stalled at the customization step, give them a call. It don't cost nuthin'

Just an update; got the email this morning that our bands have shipped! Checking the tracking, it appears the package originated in Memphis. I found that surprising.

Don't be surprised if the tracking info does not update. Mine originated from Memphis to and randomly showed up on my doorstep 4 days later and tracking still had it in Memphis lol
