I'm taking a quick 3 night trip in Feb. I was hoping to use my magic band from a year ago. If it still shows active in my account, do I still need to stop by the front desk when we arrive? I know they prefer you check-in online to be contactless but I wasn't sure if my magic band will automatically work. I have other active bands in my account too but I'm sure the batteries are low on those as they are several years old.

Also, for ROR at HS, I want to make sure I understand the newest rules. The first check in time is 7:00 am and you don't have to be in a park to attempt to get a boarding pass as long as you have a park reservations?

As long as everything is linked to your account (tickets, room reservation, and the band), you are good. No need to visit the front desk.

Yes, you are correct about ROTR. The park isn't open that early, so you wouldn't be able to be in the park anyway.

And, that holds true for each and every MB that you still have linked in your account.
"Low batteries" (or dead batteries) do not affect a MB's ability to be used for any and all WDW uses that require the MB to be "tapped."

You should be able to choose "Reuse a MagicBand" in MDE for your upcoming trip.

Even if you don't do that, your old one will work fine, but it might make you more confident you won't have issues!
