Magic band question

We upgraded to annual passes when we were at Disney this month. We’re going back this September & staying on site. On MDE magic band section there are 2 areas to customize magic bands. One is for our up coming stay at BWI & then under it is a part to customize annual pass holder bands. Which do I customize? Do I do both? Then I’d have double, right? If I only customize the resort ones, will the annual pass tickets be on those or are they only sinc to the other set? Or are tickets going to be sinc to both sets? Sorry, if I seem dumb. It’s a bit confusing to me. We plan going straight to a park the day we arrive, so I’d rather not have an issue when we go to enter.
As of right now, I only customized the resort ones with plans of only using those.

Either or both.

Right. And if you choose different colors, you'll have options every day.

There's nothing "on" the Magic Bands. They just act as a way to access the entitlements linked to your MDE account, like your annual pass.

Yup.

There isn’t anything stored on a specific MB. It is just linked to your MDE account. So it doesn’t matter which MB you use they are the same.

Personally, I would customize the AP bands, in a different color as your upcoming trip bands. The AP bands come with an orange slider that indicates you are an AP holder which should prompt the CM checking you out to ask for your AP card for discounts.
