Magic Band/multiple ticket question

We are considering a split stay in November. We will be spending 2 days at a deluxe resort and 4 days at a moderate. We already have a 4 day ticket. We are hoping for free dining for the 4 days at the moderate which means we will need to get a 2 day ticket with the package. We are only planning on going to the park 4 days total over the 6 day trip. Can we somehow keep the two day ticket off of the magic bands/account so we can use them for a later trip?

Yes, there has to be a way. Can you not put the two day tickets on your MDE and just pick up the tickets at your second resort?
I did this pre-magic band. Back then they used to put the tickets on the key to the world card but I didn't want to use the tickets as we had tickets so they just gave me the tickets.

If the tickets do automatically go on your MDE just make up dummy persons not linked to your magic band and assign the tickets you don't want to use to them ie Jane1, Jane2,
When you need the ticket for a future trip just do a reassign from the dummy name to whoever will use the ticket.
