Magic band / fp+ ??'s

I am sure some of you are sick of these by now but I feel like it's a "whole new world"! Anyway, so if I am staying offsite and I purchase tickets from home can I link those to MDE and select fp+ 30 days out? But I can not get magic bands until I am on disney property I think so... Can I link those to MDE once I get there then? And what if I stayed onsite for one night would I receive magic bands at home and could I link those to a week of tickets and fp+ selections? Would I only get one day of 60 day selections or a whole week? TIA
