Hi there and thanks in advance.

I recently received my first magic band in the mail for an upcoming visit, as well as I applied for and received a Disney VISA as I see that there are various discounts available in shops and restaurants. My question is am I somehow able to sync these up so that I can use the Magic Band but still benefit from , say for example, a 10% discount at a particular qualifying restaurant? Or will I need to present the VISA itself at the end of the meal? Ideal situation would be to just use the Magic Band while not losing out on any potential discounts.

Thanks!

You would need to present the card. The CM has no way of knowing what credit card is linked to the Magic Band.

You must show your actual Disney Chase Visa card to receive the discount.

And you might need your ID, so bring that too.

I actually carry everything I used to carry, PLUS the MB, now. Not so convenient.

One of these days you'd think you could go to either guest relations or the front desk or concierge show your disney visa, have it linked and a flag be set on that band to automatically give the discount when scanned at the POS

Who am I kidding if it takes a year to build a parking garage it's gonna take 20 years to reprogram the pos to work with the band

And with WDW being a big player in Apple Pay, just think how many guests will forget about their Chase Disney Visa discounts!
