Magic Band, DAS and off-site?

This will be our first stay off-site and during COVID. Our son has the DAS. Will we still use our Magic band when we return for our DAS return time? Also I see most places state only digital payments so I guess they aren’t taking cash? If not staying on site are You able to put CC on your MDE and use band to pay or is that just when you stay onsite and charge to room? I feel so lost!!

For DAS you can use an old (or new) MB if you'd like, or use a hard-ticket (they can give you one at the gate if you don't have one).
For dining, I think most places are still accepting cash, they are just pushing the non-cash options for limiting contact. Mobile ordering at QS works separate from the MB charges; you'll need a credit card or add a gift card (need to add for each time you use it).
Paying by MB only works if you are staying onsite, and doesn't work for mobile ordering anyway.

Don’t feel lost! It can be very confusing to navigate.

yes, magic band will be used for DAS or you can get a card when you purchase your tickets. Either will work no matter where you stay!

Disney still takes cash, you can go to guest service and have it loaded on a gift card, or just use your credit card. No magic band charging when off property (unless that has changed recently!)

As far as cash goes, we just got back and there were a few places, namely some of the food booths at Epcot, that some of the registers only took card or room charge. I think that they are trying to limit how many registers have cash. Paying with a CC or room charge was something that was preferred.
