I've never seen Fantasmic either so we can always try in May!

I'm so glad to hear you say that about 50's. Seems like it doesn't get great reviews on the boards for the food. So nice to hear you enjoyed it! I'll have to give the menu another look!

Wow, that is crazy you had to wait so long! We've eaten several times at the Sci Fi or 50s PTC and have never really had to wait. But glad you had a good server and meal. That place is so much fun. Love the ketchup on the table.

It was so much fun! We've never had a server there that was so into character! I was kinda hoping that she'd make BIL put his nose on the wall but she didn't!

It does seem terribly daunting doesn't it?! I've been on the theater and sat in the seat but DS, who didn't feel good all day, finally admitted he needed to go back to the room! So him and I left, good thing! The poor baby woke up with a 103 fever the next day!

I that they have it only 2 times per week now! That really kinda messes things up and makes the crowds terrible!

ACK! it really seems like there is a lot of tables in there! I wonder what the deal is!

Fantasmic is a killer! It was insane back there! I felt like we couldn't even move! If the late show is bad too I'm glad I left!

103? oh no!

The late show isn't as bad, we were able to walk right in about 15 minutes or so before show time. But it was full, we didn't have the best seats. The worst part was the heat though. I don't know why but it was like an oven in there. Granted it was hot out anyways but it was SOOOOOOOOOO much worse in there. Truly miserable. Which detracted from the show. There were 2 points on the August trip where the heat just ruined things and this was one. It's like that theater didn't breathe, at all and then you add flames to the mix and UGH!

It was much more enjoyable in Feb of 04. I am up for it in May depending on how hot it is out lol! 2nd show is the way to go though.

I felt awful for them!

The next day was DH's b-day and he and I were supposed to go on the KTTK tour! Luckily the concierges staff at GF was able to help me change the info so FIL could go with DH! I knew I wasn't going to be able to!

The concierges staff also helped me find a doctor! I didn't want to go offsite with 2 really sick boys by myself! They had the info for a fabulous service that sent a doctor too our room! The doctor was wonderful and spent over and hour with us! DS7 had a double ear infection and DS3 had bronchitis! THe dr gave both boys their first dose antibiotics and called the rx in for us! He was like a magic dose of pixie dust! About an hour after they had the antibiotic they perked up and after that you would have never known they were sick!

One of these days I'll get to Fantasmic, although I'm not sure I really want to fight that crowd! YIKES!

Don't talk about it being hot in May!!! It will not be hot! NO HOT! I haven't mentioned that I'm not a hot weather person yet

What an AWESOME meal at 50's!!!!!!!!! I love the ketchup on the table, I don't think I've ever seen that one!

And it's completely hilarious that you bet your niece's $5 to take a bite. I can only imagine what their faces looked like!!!! What fun memories!!!

I loved the ketchup! It was sooooo funny! I love the fact that BIL played along so well and had such a good time with it!

I really wish I had taken pictures of their faces when they ate the greens and whipped cream!

My mom isn't planning on going anywhere anytime soon! I must admit I'm a little worried about her though! She sound completely and utterly exhausted!

I think the food at 50's is hit or miss! We've been there before and it wasn't that good! This time was better! But, perhaps that experience made the food taste better!
