We got our documents yesterday! Feels so official now!!

I don't think anyone set up an official meet time yet but it would be nice to put faces to the names.

We got our documents too! Very exciting! Can't come soon enough for us! My 16 year old was excited to see 2 16 year olds on the fish extender list. We are going to try making the fish extender today out of duct tape.

My daughter was also very happy to see another 16 year old girl on the Fe list and the ship. She would very much like to meet your daughter.

We too are staying at the MCO Hyatt the night b4. Our flight gets in a 11:35pm! Still working on a possible meet. We finished our FE last night. It's cute. Get documents next Tuesday from TA.

Ours gets in at 11:00. Are you taking the Disney bus the next morning? We are. Planning to be downstairs by 9:30. Glad your fish extender came out cute! We are still putting the final touches on ours. We are all so excited!

Snubadad, they should be coming any day now! Did you use a travel agent?

We're staying at the Country suites the night before. We're getting in pretty early the day before and are planning on going to Kennedy space center. We haven't been there since my 12 yr old was about 7 and my DD was a toddler so they're old enough to appreciate it more now.

We FINALLY decided to book 2 nights at Vero Beach with our DVC points after the cruise. We were going back & forth over Universal (too expensive) & St Augustine (too far) for months now. Out of nowhere I decided to see if VB had nights available, they did, we had extra points to burn for this year so decision made

I'm going to call Shirley/Perfect Gift today to order Easter Baskets My DD is so upset she is going to miss the Easter bunny. I'm hoping they can hide the baskets in the closet or something before we get there on Friday! We're also planning on bringing some plastic eggs to hide in the stateroom.

alikay is joining our FE exchange. She's having problems logging into the DISboards so she emailed me. I'll get everyone her info now. If anyone who is participating hasn't received the list yet, let me know!

Time is really going to fly now....

Our kids' easter baskets are made of fabric so we are going to sneak them in our suitcases so the kids don't see them.

for FE - do people usually do just one surprise or once a day or only on sea days? What is the norm for this? Just want to make sure I am properly prepared!!

yes we did use an agent, should be here soon. we are arriving thursday too, staying at hampton inn doing the fly and cruise deal. it went so smooth last time we said why not again. good idea on the easter basket and eggs. i read that on easter there is a bunny and lots of candy around the ship. cant wait to turn my phone OFF!

Yes we are. My girlfriend & her family's flight comes in at 8:50 am, so we will meet them and then head where ever it is that we will meet the bus. Sarah CANNOT wait to meet Allison and your other girls. She is getting so excited. I keep reminding her that there is still a few weeks yet plus she got asked to Senior prom last night! Thank goodness the dress we got her for cruise will also work for the prom! So much$$$, It was never this expensive when I was in H.S. LOL

DCwall sent me an email...I forgot the ages for alikay & her family on the FE list! the first 3 are all adults, her niece turns 7 the day we board the ship...birthday girl!

For the FE, do we each want to pick a day to deliver or leave it a surprise? Past cruises, we've always just left it a surprise. We have such a small group, we can do it either way. Port days are crazy so I would suggest leaving them out. It's really up to you guys

We usually do 1 surprise for a week cruise, sometimes 2 depending on what I find. Sometimes people do more often smaller ones. Usually it's 1 though. It's really up to you.

Prom already? I just took my DD for her Communion dress. It was almost like bridal shopping. I heard my dad teared up when he saw her pic on facebook. He's going to lose it when prom time comes

We have Communion and Junior Prom this year! Actually that's why we are going on the cruise. My other 2 girls had big parties for their Communion. My little one doesn't remember them so we gave her a choice of a cruise or a party. WooHoo! She chose the cruise! We are actually going prom dress shopping tomorrow after school to some place in Huntington. My daughter is very concerned that we are late with getting a Prom dress.
We ordered Easter baskets from Shirley. They can't deliver them on Easter obviosly. They said they would be in the room when we get there though. We celebrate Greek Easter also which is the following week so will have egghunt there. Someone mentioned there is an egghunt on the ship but you have to sign up right away so we will check that out.
We are DVC members also. We LOVE Vero Beach. We have gone 3 times so far and it is my husband's favorite place. You will have an awesome time!

Hello everyone! Sorry I am a little late at finding this forum. We are going to be on the cruise as well. It will be myself DH, DS 7(almost 8) and DS 4. I am also surprised that this board has not been busier.
Has anyone ever stayed at the Country Inn and Suites? How does the park and cruise work. Do we need to reserve the shuttle in advance?

We are flying in and will arrive late Thursday night so decided to stay near the airport so the girls could get to bed earlier (age 8, 10). We are staying at Wingate by airport. They offered bfast and free shuttle to/from port so we went with them.
We got our documents last week...

We are so busy right now with winter sports ending, spring sports starting that I finally gave up on the idea I would ever have time to pull my FE together and ordered one.....however, too cute.

We have a port arrival of 11-1130 am and are meeting my mom and aunt at the port. They are in the cabin next to us.

Headed out today to do some cruise shopping (after basketball, girl scout cookie sale, and princess tea).

Hi snubadad you can buy an FE on Ebay.com, without having to bid on one. The have 21 different ones that you can purchase without going on the auction. The are also different prices so you have some choice. Also could you please e-mail Stipmy so the we have your cruise info, Name res is under cabin# your name, hubby's name & names, ages (sexes) of your children for the FE List, there are 5 other families besides you and myself that are participating. Stimpy has the master list, s I'm sure she could add you and send out an update.
