Jandb, my family (me, my husband, and our 8 yr old son) are staying at the country inn and when I booked it online I added the cruise package. This is our first cruise so hopefully I am doing it right.

I just realized I should have done my port arrival thing when I received my cruise documents! Just did it today and selected the 12:30 - 1 time slot. I'm usually a very relaxed, stress free person, but I find myself starting to worry about this cruise!trying to figure out what we REaLLY need to pack. And hoping that we all just love it! (especially since I had to do some major convincing to get us all to go!)

Sorry again for dropping out of the FE stuff. I know I made the right decision as we just found out from our principal that our MAP testing will be the 2 weeks prior to spring break and that just made our workload crazy!! I will be beyond ready for a vacation...and a drink.

Hi Ajsmom22. Stop apologizing for dropping out of the FE. It's fine everyone has crazy schedules and MAP testing is a PITA! My kids had NJASK testing and is stresses them out too. Now we will be studying for the HSPAS next year. Must pass them to graduate H.S.! Would love to have a drink with you anyhow. That's what vacations are for! RELAXING!!!! We are in stateroom 8576. Hi Ajsmom

We are staying there the night before as well. We are driving from NY. We have an 11-1130 port arrival time. I am not sure if we are taking the shuttle to the port since we have family from florida coming to visit that night and staying over. We should meet up on the ship. My son was very excited when I told him your son was his age

Amber- You are in bathing suits a lot. I usually where a bathing suit everyday and I have a maxi dress to where over them, so I feel dressed to walk around the islands or to go to breakfast or lunch. My kids are always in their bathing suits with Tshirts. The last time I packed way to many shorts and T shirts and not enough cover ups, so I ended up buying the cover ups and never wearing t shirts and shorts

Hello everyone! Sorry I am a little late at finding this forum. We are going to be on the cruise as well. It will be myself DH, DS 7(almost 8) and DS 4. I am also surprised that this board has not been busier.
Has anyone ever stayed at the Country Inn and Suites? How does the park and cruise work. Do we need to reserve the shuttle in advance?

Jennifer, thank you (and everyone) for understanding! I'm totally up for meeting! I love making new friends! My husband jokes that I won't be happy until I have met and befriended every person in the world. I just like to have fun!

Jandb, I already told AJ, my son, about your 2 boys and he is very excited! He asked me if I think they will play with him, I said I thought there was a good chance...lol! So fun!!

I do not like packing too much...I did that a few times (who hasn't?) and swore I would stop it! I have done well our past vacations but the cruise thing is all knew. Bathing suits and nice cover ups sound perfect. Thank you!

We are in 6323...wait, I have to double check that. Inside stateroom...I'll edit this post with the correct room.

Hello one and all. I am brand new to any/all of this, so please bear with me. I would like to set up a kids meet sometime on Embarkation day so they can all get to know each other. Since some of you are veterans to the Magic, where and when would be the best place to do this? I do not know what time everyone is boarding so I was thinking maybe around 4:30/4:45 after the safety drill. I just am not familiar with the ship to recommend an appropriate spot to meet. Could someone please help me out with that part? I would very much appreciate that. Thanks. Jenn As for us Adults, we can setup something as well maybe on the next day when we are not quite so crazy with settling in, or whenever we would like too! It doesn't matter to me, as long as we all can RELAX!!!!!

We would love a meet but I don't know if that time will work. We only went on one Disney cruise and I remember after the drill we were rushing to get a spot for the sailaway party. As a matter of fact our friends got up there ahead of us and got my kids streamers because we were running late. Maybe it was just us but then it was dinner time and the first day flew by! I forgot though at some point we played Bingo and went to the DVC event. Anyway let me know because my kids would love to have some kids to hang out with. It looks like my little one who will be 8 in July has quite a few little girls her age. She too is shy and is hesitant about the kids club. Last time she had her little friend with her so it worked out perfectly. It seems like a bunch of us are planning to get to the port early. Is it possible to meet there while we were waiting? Last time I remember waiting there quite a bit. Just let me know!
