I love the pictures. My kids were very concern about why that man would want to dress like Tink. Great- now I have to figure out how to dance around that...

My girls got a kick out of it! We were all amazed at how many grown-ups were REALLY dressed up---they must have spent a fortune on some of the costumes.

That guy dressed like Tink is hilarious!! I knew a few guys in college that would have done that, after a few drinks. Hey, maybe we can get Buzz to dress up in October... After we get a bottle or two of wine in him, maybe we can get Linnie to slip the Tink outfit on him!

So, tomorrow morning we're hitting EE, huh? Sounds good to me!

Oh yes it was then! They had a big drapery with a picture of the City Hall draped over the whole real thing. They were "renovating." I didn't take a pic cause it looked so weird.

That was played a lot---now I think of the party when I hear it!

We haven't done the parade at MK in years. Looks like it's really changed.

It's all different for the P&P---really worth seeing!

The really annoying thing is that when we got back to the room, they both tried the costume on, and wished they had worn it!

After the parade, we rushed back to Capn Jack despite Ab saying "He won't be here---he was just in the parade!!"

And he said "no, thaz Johnny Depp pretending he was me"

Hilarious!

But I looked at BA and her eyes were watering....I asked her what was the matter and she said it was too much smoke. (we were close to the castle and it WAS smoky). She also asked if the explosions hurt the castle any. I said "no--I was sure they had planned them to look closer than they really were"

Poor thing, I thought the P&PP fireworks were absolutely amazing!

All of a sudden, we were at the Bus stop! BA and I said "wait---we're not leaving! It's only 10:45!!"

10.45 OMG did hey not know how much money those tickets cost?

The kids ended up loving the fireworks. They argued about not wanting to see them but I forced them and they loved them.

I kind of warned them what was gong to happen because I read about it and they said that made it better or at least Tiny said that.

It's a Teen Pirate Dress--blousy white top and short black skirt with skull/crossbones on it. With a belt, it fit both of them---and they loved it once they got home.

Ok! Rise and shine everyone! You made me leave the party early last nite, so we're opening up AK this morning! Yes, you too DM........no, I really don't care if your head is thobbing from all that wine!


So yes, my goal was for everyone to open AK---this was only 9 am, so that's not difficult---we opened it at 7 am last year!

But.........Ab would not get up.........so, we left her.....again.......with plans for her to meet us at AK at noon.

The 3 of us made it to opening!! We were walked to the Tree of Life then........we rushed to the Safari!

The next plan was to see Nemo....cause Jo had recommended it! So, we ran over there just as they were letting folks in. No pics here, cause it wasn't allowed. Review: I really liked the show--lots of special effects. But our seats were crappy in the front left---had to turn around to see some of the action. The best seats are in the center in front of the little stage that juts out into the audience!
BA thought the puppet-men were a little disturbing.
I thought Ab texting me throughout the show was disturbing.

So after the show, we met up with Ab, and went to Yak and Yeti!

We loved the setting, and the outdoor tables were perfect for this 74 degree nice day!

We each got an entree served in the traditional Chinese boxes-----------another tip --2 counter serve meals would have been plenty for us! They packed the stuff in there really tight!

This was the menu---what we picked is highlited: BA had plain lo mein instead of shrimp lo mein. The honey chicken was really great!

Overall, we would go back here for counter again, and maybe try the TS if we had an extra one.

After this, we rode Dinosaur........twice.......cause we really love it!
