Maggie is having her surgery this morning. . .*update pg3-good news*

I am so glad Willy. I just knew it would be all right. Here is to a quick recovery, and an awesome celebration when it is all over ;) Lots of hugs to you and Maggie.

Great news Willy! Maggie, you take it easy and recover all the way. :)

GLAD TO HEAR THAT EVERYTHING WENT SO WELL TODAY:) :) :) . It would have been nice to get away with a simple scope procedure, but the most important thing is that she will finally get some permanent resolution:D :D ......

Glad to hear everything went well. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

{{{Hugs}}} to you Maggie! Prayers for a quick recovery coming your way. :sunny:

I'm so happy for the both of you!:):) Please take good care of yourselves.

Wow! I didn't realize that she still had this problem. Glad to hear that the surgery went well. Wishing her a speedy recovery from this ordeal and, come to think of it, wishing you well also. Stress can really wear one down.

Good to hear this update, Willy. MY continued best for Maggie. Hope she is home soon and on the road to full recovery.

Glad to hear that things went well for maggie yesterday! I hope that she's soon back to her usual sunny self.

Thanks again everyone. . :) :)

I talked to Maggie again last night. . . and she was already home!!!

Seems the surgery started at 8am and lasted 3 hours. . . and they found 2 seperate hernias, not just one; but both were repaired sucessfully and thankfully they didn't find anything else out of the norm. . . :)

They had assigned her to a room with the intention of keeping her overnight, but after she talked to me the doctor came in and after asking her a few questions he told her she could go home if she wanted to. . . although it might have been a bit premature, the weather there was a factor- it was cold and rainy and they were worried it would turn to ice overnight, so her family got her home while the roads were still good. . .

So, she was home safe and sound, and although she was hurting and still a little groggy from the anesthesia, she was in good spirits and happy to be home and have the surgery behind her. . . :)

I told her about the wonderful messages that were posted here. . it will probably be at least a couple days yet before she can sit up at the computer, so she asked me to let everyone know she is very touched and grateful, and that she'll check in as soon as she's able . . . :) :)

Thanks again, Willy, for the update. Nice to hear she is home, so much better to be in your own home when not up to par. Continued good wishes.
