Magen's Bay or Trunk Bay?

Hi all,

Trying to do figure out which would be better on our St.Thomas/St. John day. I've always wanted to visit St. John, however it seems like half the day would be spent traveling to get there. Whereas, Magen's Bay is a quick cab ride over. Of those who have have been to both, which do you prefer and why?

Trunk Bay is better...much nicer (which says a lot since Magen's Bay is gorgeous in its own right), and much less crowded. You are correct though, the problem is the ride over there and back and the time it takes. Usually, the Fantasy doesn't have enough hours in port at St. Thomas to make it worth it IMO. We've done it while on a RCCL cruise where we had an extra couple of hours.
