Magazine Subscription???

Still waiting for my contract to pass through ROFR. (9 days but who's counting!!!) Somewhere I seem to recall that DVC members qualify for a discount on some Disney magazine. I can order this subscription through a fundraiser at my son's school for $20.00. Anyone know if this is true and what the price is through Disney?

You are right. DVC members are being offered a 2-year subscription to Disney Magazine for $10. The offer is good until 12/31/2004 so you'll be able to order once you have closed.

Disney Visa also has an offer. I think that's $7.50 for one year.

Thanks for the information. Besides the small discount on length of stay passes, and something off at the Disney store are there any other discounts worth mentioning? I vaguely remember something about some restaurants at the parks. Thanks!

After you close and get into the Disney system, they'll send you a password to the member website that opens up a long page of discounts at the parks. The discounts change from time to time, and that page should be your most up-to-date reference.

The list on the member site changes all the time. It does include various restaurants, discounts on park tours, discounts on recreational things in Vero and HHI, discounts on golf, discounts on special things at WDW like the parasailing, auto race cars, spa treatments, etc. We also get free valet parking at all times at the DVC resorts by showing our member card.

I didn't notice the discount on the Disney Magazine. I know members of the Disney Club got a discount. How do you get it? Do you call MS or call the magazine directly?
