Madison's Special Wish Foundation Trip/GKTW

BIG GIVE MAIL ARRIVED TODAY

We got more mail today. There were 2 packages today. Madison was so excited. Well we were all excited. As you will see she got an awesome outfit with Shamu and dolphins on the shirt and a dolphin on the skort from Carol W. (CaGirl2MdMom). Thank you so much. She looks so cute in it and won't take it off. It fits perfect. Oh and it came in a disney print package. In the other box (which was beautifully designed) came a build a bear and a homemade autograph book with marker for signing. She absolutly loves stuffed animals, so that was perfect also. It is amazing how with just a little info you know just what to send her. Thank you to "Your St. Louis Friends" for the box of goodies. You both have made a not so good day because of having to put her boot back on an awesome day for my baby girl. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

Oh we were all so excited. Madison could not wait to open them. She is not one to show alot of excitement, but when these packages come she is truly beside herself. And again I cried. Thank you so very much

The bear is so soft. She asked me tonight if she could take it when we go to GKTW - of course I told her yes. She wants to wear the outfit again tomorrow.

The outfit fit her perfect, thanks. Yes we were planning on using a wheel chair while we are there. Hoping to be able to get one at the resort. She tends to get tired really easy and her legs and lower back hurt when she walks a lot. Don't know if or where to get one to have at GKTW though. Going to get ahold of our wish coordinator to see what can be done. Got a message from her today saying she wasn't going to be able to make it over this week either due to her father passing, so not sure when we will see her.

Hi Billwendy; Thanks about the outfit. It feels perfect! I know, isn't he cute. I named him Looey because he came from St. Louis. He IS soft. I put diapers & clothes on him. I did this and twisted with him Mommy is gonna post a picture of him.

I am excited about swimming with the dolphins, and the petting zoo and the horses. Is GKTW fun? Is the ice cream good? Do they have hard chocolate for the ice cream ? Yes I like rides. They are awsome.

Yes!! GKTW IS FUN!!! You will love it!! THe little houses are so cute!! There is a really cooool playground too!! BUt, our favorite was the Pirateship Pool Area!!!! The pool has fountains that shoot into it, and if its warm enough when you are there the splash play area is fun too!!

At this pool area there is a cool "surfing set up" where you can put your camera on this little shelf and then pose and it looks like you are surfing!!

YES the ice cream is AWESOME!! They have a bunch of flavors of hard ice cream. You can eat it plain or have a bananna split or a sunday!! You could also have a milkshake or a soda. I got to eat there once and it was AWESOME!!! We sat out in front of the ice cream shop on an bench that was in an ice cream bowl!!! Haha

THere is a cute little train to ride on around the miniature golf course!! There is also a little arcade and a cool train display!! THere is a carousel that you can ride as much as you want! A cool Castle of Miracles (make sure you go there to make your star) and a movie theater!!!!

My nephew rode the horses - he was a little bit bummed that it wasnt really free style riding, but kinda in a circle. But Hey - he still got to ride a horse!!!

Are you gonna ride the mountains at Disney World (space, splash and big thunder??)?

Getting your package ready was a family event for us, and looking at your pictures made me realize that some things were missing from the box. Thank you so much for sending this message. Now she (we) knows who it came from. She loves Build A Bear. We have one here really close to us and she also is getting into the Zhuzhu Pets. Has asked for them a few times and has one. She will be so excited to get another package. I can't thank you (and all the others) enough for sending my baby gifts. It means more than I can put into words. She is doing very well right now despite having a broken foot, broken vertibrae and broken tailbone. She is getting around wonderfully and you wouldn't even know anything was wrong with her if you saw her. That is kind of frustrating for me sometimes though. People just kind of give you a wierd look when I tell them that she is getting a wish. It is like they are saying with there eyes well there isn't even anything wrong with her. It just hurts sometimes. Anyway, sorry to go on and on. Mommy is just not doing well today with the whole Job's Syndrome thing. Thanks again for everything.

BIG GIVE MAIL AGAIN TODAY
We got more mail today. Thank you thank you thank you. The following pictures are of the mail we received today. It came from Cheryl (aboveH20). Thank you so much for the wonderful shirts. As you will see they all fit great and look good. Oh and they are my favorite color. So excited to be included in Madison's Big Give and couldn't have come on a better day for mommy (me). Grandma and I cry everytime something comes in the mail. It amazes us everytime that there are people out there that care enough about our little angel to send her gifts. I know I have said it before, but it does really mean more than you know. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
