Heard from Tammy when I got home from work this afternoon. They are still doing good. They get to move to the Inn tonight, Like a motel right on the hosp. grounds for patient that are out of state. So they will be able to relax and get some much needed rest and I get to pick them up at our airport tomarrow evening. I can not wait I miss them sooo much. Then we can concintrate on our big trip. Just 6 more days and boy are we ready. One of the big give ladies that sent Madison a gift lives in the area where Madison and Tammy are is going to go to the hospital and meet them and spend some time with them, which is very nice. I just cannot say anough about how wonderful the Big GIVE women are. Great bunch. Oh and when Madison gets home tomarrow night there are 2 more boxes waiting for her. Thanks for reading along ane being so good to my Madison.
We did make it to the INN and are relaxing in beds. Madison had some nuggets today, thanks Jen, and had some more a little bit ago and is now laying in a full size bed watching Spongebob. I am laying on a full size bed playing on the computer. Going to turn it off soon and just lay here and watch tv. Grandma just called to say goodnight and is talking to Madison. She really misses her and all her pets. Heading home tomorrow for a busy weekend of work and then off to happiness and fun. All the test have come back with good results and they have found some things that we wouldn't have had we not come here. So very thankful for this trip even though it started horrible.
Hi and welcome to our once in a lifetime journey. You are never to late to join in and I thank you for doing so. The ladies from the Big Give are just something else. They are the most giving and caring group of people I have ever known and I feel like I really do know some of them. It amazes me of their generosity. They all should have a special place in heaven.
We are pretty happy that she gets to swim with the dolphins too. And yes Grandma will be taking pictures. I am a big chicken when it comes to being in the water with the dolphins or any thing that swims becides humans. But I am happy with being the picture taker. I just want my girls to have an experience that they will remember forever.
My girls got home safe and sound Thursday night. I picked them up at the airport and was so glad to finally see them. I missed them so much. But it was a good trip for them. Tammy came home is a better place in that she is not as worried about Madison's health. She has some peace of mind now. Now we can focus on our trip that is coming up real soon. We only have 3 more sleeps until the limo will be here to take us to the airport and then on to GKTW and the start of a much needed vacation. I am so excited now. Madison will be stylin in all of her pretty new clothes that she received from the big give. We will take lots of pictures of her in them. She did get her waterproof cast yesterday. This cast only comes up to her elbow and not her armpit and is not as heavy which will be cooler for her.She can now bend her arm. Her foot is doing good, [she can wear all of her new flip flops that match her new outfits thanks ladies.] We are taking her boot just in case her foot starts to bother her. Madison did get a few more big give packages while she was gone, Tammy will post the pictures sometime this weekend. She will be working her hiney off trying to get some of her work hours back that she missed this week from being at NIH, but she will take the time to put the pictures up.
